Well polished but maybe one of the worst games in the genre. You have stunningly little agency, there are a bunch of systems but none of them give you any real depth to make choices as a player. It's basically just a stat grinding simulator with what seems to be escalating grind times for each wall. It's unfortunate because the game is extremely well polished overall, but a survivor game needs to be the right combination of brainless grind and learning what to exploit, and this game is basically all grind.
Probably the most polished survivor game but one of the worst in terms of gameplay if not the worst. Their idea of having a lot of content is basically locking everything behind an endless grind. After a few hours when the novelty wears off it becomes repetitive. There's no satisfaction in finishing a dive, it's just plain boring.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

$10 dlc for $10 game lmao
Perhaps 20 hours isn't enough, but this game feels so slow on progression. I can barely complete a hazard 2 mission and have to rely on "just the right amount" of luck to get the upgrades needed in a run. It feels like working towards mastery progression is the answer from what I've seen online, but it after upgrading multiple times on that front, I didn't feel much of a difference in power and still struggle on the exact same missions. Based on this, I find it difficult to stay motivated to progress since power increments feel meaningless and therefore "the grind" rears its ugly head. I compare this with Vampire Survivors and Halls of Torment where I actually feel measurably stronger after a few runs and can move on to more difficult levels in what I feel is a reasonable time frame. "just use cold weapons", "just use this class", "just build this way"--- no thanks. I don't want to be pigeonholed into a specific play-style I don't resonate with.
- Extremely repetitive gameplay - The permanent upgrades feel like they have almost no meaningful impact on gameplay - The weapon balance is terrible. Some weapons are completely useless, while others are overpowered - Various bugs and technical issues, such as your Supply Pod getting permanently stuck, the game freezing between levels or even freezing when launching the game - Sooner or later, you will end up with more resources and money than you can actually spend. They become completely useless, as if the developers forgot that a game needs a late game - The game offers several different modes, but they are essentially the same gameplay on the same maps with the same weapons, just with slightly different and rather pathetic modifiers - Many of the challenges and achievements are basically Random Bullsh** Go... Unless you get extremely lucky, some of them are practically impossible to complete No story, no meaningful upgrades and no cool or fun weapon combinations to experiment with. It's just the same repetitive gameplay over and over again. There are definitely better games in this genre, such as Vampire Survivors, Hall of Torment and Army of Ruin. Recommended only for fans of Deep Rock Galactic.
The design decisions in this game are baffling, every single one seems to contribute towards making the game less fun for some reason. Runs never feel like you have the upper hand, and you can't really upgrade more than 1 weapon without being severely underpowered, not even factoring rng into the mix. Meta progression is insanely grindy and tedious, with very little benefit for the effort. You're incentivised to explore each map, but forced to rush killing the boss and have to immediately leave or else it's game over. Such a good game conceptually, gathering minerals and killing enemies to level up your weapons, but nothing is really executed even remotely decently. This is the digital equivalent of putting your hand in a fire for entertainment, there is certainly a game here but you should probably play something else instead.
