Carefully guide your nation from the era of absolute monarchies in the early 19th century, through expansion and colonization, to finally become a truly great power by the dawn of the 20th century. Victoria II is a grand strategy game played during the colonial era of the 19th century, where the player takes control of a country, guiding...

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

не знал что армия у зулусов лучше чем у Трансваля и Оранжевой республики вместе взятых
Goated game does basically everything better than Victoria 3 and each country feels unique. Also managed to survive for more than a decade with 2 DLCs unlike other Paradox games

Infinite clicking simulator. Why can't I set a policy once to stop getting 1 billion inconsequential pop-ups about tea or influenza or the underground railroad that pause the game every time? Why do I have to manually go into the diplo menu to increase opinion every. single. time. my influence is high enough? (And have to do so 3 times to go from neutral to cordial to friendly to sphere) Also, having instant war goals on a country with your cores is stupid. They released a whole DLC for the American Civil War and never realized that, hey, maybe having the US keep cores on the CSA and declare war on them immediately every time the truce expires *might* be a bad idea. (Though this is a problem with vanilla, as France will start a billion death wars over Alsace-Lorraine)
them pops man, them pops
To this day this is still the best Victoria game in the series.
Still haven't figured out how 90% of the game mechanics work
I have wasted 110 hours of my life on this game assuming I just wasn't very good at it, but it turns out the game is just not very well designed. One of the biggest problems is that not very much is explained in game and even when you spend many hours reading forums and wikis it doesn't make things much better. My final straw was when I couldn't assign a leader to my brigade despite having many leaders available. The game is either buggy or it is poorly explained and non-intuitive. There may be mods that fix these issues, but if Paradox is relying on random people to fix their buggy or poorly designed games for them, it reflects poorly on them.
very fun, espeically once you figure out hot to mod the game
icon ya saca el ipm 4 te lo ruego me arde la riata aaaaaaaaaaaaa 20/10
