Playing Venba was a cozy, relatable experience for me. The sound design is crisp and immersive. The animation is smooth and the art style is eye-catching and vibrant. I finished this game in under two hours, so if you have a back-log of games like me, this is a quick item to check off your list. I love how the developers included the actually recipes of each dish so you can recreate them yourself.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've never really been a big fan of the cooking mama type games. But this kind of changed my mind. It's short and moving and the music is really great. Would recommend!
brb gonna cry and hug my immigrant Canadian mother 😭😭😭😭

Hits close to home
This is a lovely game, it really took me back to my childhood and so many aspects like the music, characters and the recipes themselves had me feeling super nostalgic. The game mechanics are so satisfying and really fun to work with, it felt so immersive and the fact that the recipes are legit made it even better. This game is a labour of love and it shows, highly recommended.
very good
Got this game as a random CD key and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt very personal and very inspired, creative artstyle and loved the music too. My ONLY big critique is that i wasnt allowed to cut the fish myself and instead had to simply click the screen, besides that, zero complaints, great game :)
Definitely did not expect this game to make such a compelling narrative which spans decades that is equal parts relatable, emotional and gut punching in a short amount of time while maintaining a simplistic and minimal cooking mechanic which does not overstay it's welcome. Pure cozy game at it's finest. 10/10
