This actually helped me out emotionally. I've been going through some really tough times, and the game uses actual therapy techniques. Playing this helped me through some really hard moments, like during my divorce. Let's be real, I relate strongly to Meddy, both as a streamer and because of my trauma. The voice acting is great, the animation is good, it's a solid game. I'm confused why recent reviews are mixed - to me this is one of my favorite all time games. 5 stars.
I don't know if I could ever say enough about how much I like this game and how cool it is. My husband correctly identified this game as my new special interest -- after I finished playing the game for the first time! The characters are well-developed and interesting, and the history and cognitive distortion elements are well researched. The art is gorgeous! I made some fan art of some of the main cast because the character designs are so compelling. I imagine it's also difficult to make a game that is this story-dependent have a lot of replay value, but I think it does. I'm excited to replay the game, get some achievements I missed the first time, and do some of the sessions a little differently. The bonus content was also fun and healing to decompress after the hard-hitting ending! I am going to love replaying this game several times while I eagerly await the sequel.
[h3]The whole concept of doing therapy for vampires is so creative![/h3] The game really helps you understand some [b]real[/b] therapy concepts. Characters are written amazing, the voice acting is incredible and art is marvellous! The only thing that I could complain about are first hours of gameplay. I did enjoy it of course, but it was a litte bit overwhelming if you wanted to play a lot in one sitting! But it could be just me. The more I played, the easier it got so you just have to take it slow I guess!
I liked it a lot and looking forward to hopefully another game. The Characters are written all so diferently but still in a way that makes sense. It is a great game to just wind down and relax to.
I loved the main story, very beginner friendly when it comes to terminology for therapy terms as well. I also recommend the dlc for a little extra story. The art looks nice, don't expect too much in terms of interacting aside from dialog options. I saw a good amount of people who gave a thumbs down for it. If you got some time to kill and want to explore cognitive distortions by all means buy this game.

This is one of the most heartfelt games I have played. It encourages empathy, and you are most successful when developing real life skills: deep listening, critical thinking, future making. I use the therapeutic strategies in my day to day life. It's really good stuff.
excellent job of incorporating Dialectical Behavioural Therapy into the script! And the DLC is awsome as well. Highly reccomended to those who appreciate History and sarcasms jokes about societal norms.
