Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Dive into a living medieval fantasy sandbox RPG where the world lives and acts with or without you. Villagers follow routines, factions compete for power, dangers roam the land, and every decision can create opportunity or disaster.
Become a thief, hunter, or sellsword. Travel alone or build a party. Hunt, steal, trade, fight, and survive in a fully enterable world where every building, cave, and road can become part of your story.
No fake doors. No decorative cave entrances. If you can reach it, you can enter it.
Create the heroes of your journey. Customize each member of your party’s appearance, hairstyle, physique, and background story to make your mark on the world.
Every choice teaches you something. Earn experience through what you do and unlock skills that keep you alive. Go in loud with brutal weapons, or stay unseen, avoid fair fights, and end threats before they notice you.
The world won’t keep you safe; you’ll have to prepare. Stock up, craft gear, and choose how you live: settle in town by renting a house, or roam freely with camps you can set up between expeditions. Hunt, gather, and craft your loadout, then do whatever it takes to survive.
Valorborn is built around player-driven stories, not a single scripted path. Start small and survive however you can. Steal and sell stolen goods. Live off the wilderness and trade pelts for coin. Take contracts and hunt the dangers stalking roads, ruins, and settlements. Tip faction conflicts in your favor, exploit the chaos for profit, or stay out of politics and carve your own path. Your choices shape your identity, your reputation, and your future.

Quoted: "We will keep working on it and improving it as long as we can provide for our families & have the chance to go at least once a year on vacation. 😂🫡" This game will be 100% be abandoned before a good product is released; please don't waste your money like I did. The developer has only one other game, that is also unfinished. I love Kenshi, but I regret supporting this game, and the developer.
Here's my review of the game: it's terrible and a waste of money. When you're creating your character, it seems like they have trouble standing upright. The running mechanic feels completely artificial and very strange. It also gives the impression that all the male characters are wearing eye makeup, and this can't be changed. The crouching mechanic is completely bugged; I ended up decimating an entire camp by assassinating one NPC after another. The perception system also needs improvement. Another issue is the trading system. You need to separate coins for purchases and even keep the merchant's coins separate if you want to sell something. This doesn't make much sense to me. The game had potential, but it needs a lot of work. The combat system isn't intelligent either. If you're in a group, everyone just lines up behind one another and attacks the same person. In Kenshi, the way you run, walk, and fight is much more fluid, and trading is simpler. I hope you read my review.

Based on solid idea. But literally unplayable right now. So many bugs. Game breaking bugs.... Soul crushing bugs. For example you clear out a bandit camp for a quest, but the quest won't update itself after you kill everyone. It just get stuck. Any many more like these... Note for devs: Please work more on the building details. A furnace should be smoking out of the chimney and not closed out with stone.
(Quick Edit: After thinking about it for a bit, and then being reminded when looking on the steam page, them charging $25 for this mess is kind of insane, and pushes me even further on the not recommended side of things. It's an absolute MESS for that price and is absolutely not worth $25 at the moment. Charging $5 less than its near-perfectly realized father, Kenshi, is insane and the devs should be ashamed.) I'm 50/50 between recommend and not recommend. I wish there was a mixed option. I Recommend if you want to support the future of a game like this. I do Not Recommend if you're hoping to hop into the game and play it right now. I (initially, but came back and changed it upon remembering that it cost me $25) reviewed as recommended because I don't want to down-vote this game into being abandoned. There is something here. A diamond DEEP DEEP DEEP in the rough. Maybe someone else can find a lot more to enjoy at the moment than I could. This one is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tough for me. I don't review games often. I think about it often, but I'm usually too lazy to type something up. I want to write something while it's fresh in my mind, but also this game legit gave me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ migraine. I LOVE Kenshi, with all of my heart. As we all likely know, this game is trying to be a medieval Kenshi. Heavily Kenshi inspired. This game is cursed to forever be sat right next to Kenshi on the bench, and that gives this Dev a STEEP uphill battle, and I commend them for taking it on. This game is Kenshi, but only in pale pale imitation, with weights tied to your arms and legs and you're standing in a raging river. It is ROUGH. And the map starts blacked out, but due to glitches and being able to see parts of the blacked out map, it looks drastically smaller and less diverse than Kenshi's map. (I actually feel bad for saying "this game is Kenshi" a moment ago, that is a disservice to Kenshi.) I have not gotten as frustrated at any game as I did at this one, in YEARS. If you want more detail, I'll post more in the comments of this review. I'm not going to type the details here because I just exited the game and am exhausted from it. I have a headache. I've been wanting to get back into making videos for YouTube (I'm not self-promo-ing, just context) and often take notes while I'm playing a game so I can form a narrative for a video down the road, and so I can remember what I did. 85% - 90% of my notes for this game are not narrative. It was literally impossible to "forge my own story." My notes are 85% - 90% frustration at the mechanics. I'm just going to copy/paste the notes I took into the comments here. They are time-stamped so you can literally just follow my experience of 6 hours of playing the game from today. Everything is there chronologically. I hope the dev sticks to it and makes this game what it absolutely can be. But for now, I can't even respectfully call this early access. I truly feel this game needed A LOT more time in the oven before even being released to early access, this should be labelled a "barely playable play test" or something. It's rough. It's frustrating. If I'm not back within this week for some more (if I come back and have a different experience, I'll update this review), it'll probably be a long long time before I launch the game again, granted it not becoming abandoned. But there are also hundreds of other games in my library I want to, and would rather play.) But it's fine, keep my money, Dev. Just make this game great. It could be great. Please make it great, Dev.
This game is so buggy it is unbelievable. The concept is actually actually really cool but the game needs to be worked on more. Your items will glitch and disappear, Characters have trouble using stations or picking up items, the game crashes constantly making things disappear. It is not worth it at all right now until they can actually work on fixing many of the issues.
A buggy mess. Items keep disappearing. The smelter can't be accessed unless it is built on a slope (the foundation gets in the way). So why do I give a positive review? It looks promising, it can become a good game. But bug-fixes should be the top priority for the next 6 months, no more content before what you already have got is functional. I will leave now, and check back in 6 months time. This game needs a lot of work, but it is based on a sound idea.
Slow updates post-launch. Not worth it yet.
broken game,glitchy,bugy,empty....early alfa at its best...dont buy for now
Heard soo much about it, how it is the new Kenshi or whatever. No where near close.. Its expected from a new game have some issues yet some of them are borderline silly. Bannerlord and Cyberpunk was also horrible on release but they quickly get back up, couldnt see same here. Half of the item descriptions are just filler text, couple never loading icons of items, researched clothes are not appearing on tailoring workbench, some faction names are still have fillers. I'll be keep playing to see if it improves or not. Not planning to refund but I wouldnt suggest anyone this almost 1,5 year old game in this state.
If I wanted tedious slow gameplay I would just play Kenshi, great trailer though. The bandit camp you clear just respawns bandits after game-save/some time in game. Every crafting technique from smithing, woodwork, to leather is cumbersome, UI management isn't what I was expecting going into this.
