Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 21 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The good: - good amount of content, especially considering the squad, extra missions & skirmish battles - captures an alternate story mushing the allies' and nazi world war 2 and cold war with some interesting twists. - slow but rewarding progression for various classes - I've mastered a new language and cleaned the house over the hours the AI ran its turns Neutral - Unique real time / turn based action (it felt like the real time part could be dropped to me) - [opinion] I didn't enjoy the filler narratives about racing another squad to get bacon and bread, the story frequently skips between childlike anime to more serious all-out war flipping the switches from 0-to-100 The bad - In larger maps both sides have so many troops and idle move actions on either end, you'll watch your phone rather than the screen - feels like an old dated PS1 era game in terms of unskippable "cutscenes", enemy turns that take several minutes: often the AI choosing to do some running back & forth in place - Some encounters (
I.E. Swartzgrad
) Combat is heavily RNG with the first turn taking out either half your squad on mission start, or a single soldier, save and reload manually often... - Some dialogues/events can't be skipped - Does not respect your leisure time: When an enemy takes out an objective (I.E. you lose), it continues several minutes playing out the events, after for almost all missions a custom unskippable monologue is played - This is further slapped in your face by the fact that many enemies taking out critical objectives are either hidden, using new unexplained mechanics or simply have the ability to run through half the map in a turn virtually immune to any of your setup interception fire If you want a story Play BG3

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

love the combat, love the story. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so annoying going from menu to menu and have someone comment on everything i do. Every single upgrade has your engineer popup and has to go WOW! go to the training field and your anime rival, greets you. talks when starting and ending the training process. It gets annoying.
Please do the remakes of VC 2 and VC 3. Especially VC 3. No neeed to explain why :)
Valkyria Chronicles 4: Complete Edition delivers everything I enjoy about this series and then some. The art direction is outstanding, and the character designs are a major highlight. The art director clearly has a strong eye for creating memorable, appealing female characters, and that signature style adds a lot of charm and personality to the game. I genuinely hope future installments continue to embrace this level of creativity and visual flair. The amount of content packed into this edition is impressive. Beyond the main campaign and skirmishes, there are side stories, character‑focused missions, and additional stages that flesh out the world and give the cast more depth. It feels like a complete, generous package. Gameplay systems have also expanded in great ways. Outfit variations, deeper upgrade paths, and new support options—like ship abilities—give you more freedom to shape your squad and strategy. It’s satisfying to see not just your weapons and tank grow stronger, but your entire support structure evolve with you. One feature I truly appreciate is the ability to use optional assists and cheats. With a busy schedule, being able to play at my own pace turns the game into a perfect stress reliever. Sometimes it’s just nice to jump into a battlefield, charge forward, and enjoy the experience without pressure. Overall, Valkyria Chronicles 4: Complete Edition is polished, content‑rich, and incredibly enjoyable. I fully recommend it to both longtime fans and newcomers.
I loved the first game to death. This game has too many problems, it's really sad. Excruciatingly slow and meaningless cutscenes between missions. Missions and difficulty are extremely easy. As in, not even an 8 yr old would find this hard in any way. Core gameplay loop from the series is still there with some additions and improvements, but it's just not enough and unbearable to play.
