Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Valheim is a collaborative exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. Craft powerful weapons, construct elaborate halls, and slay mighty foes to prove yourself to Odin!

Discover an immersive procedurally generated world, with different biomes that each have their distinct environments, unique resources and dangerous enemies. Become a Viking and sail the open seas in search of lands unknown, alone or with up to nine friends!

The Tenth World has been corrupted by hateful forces, in the shape of mighty regional bosses known as the Forsaken. Hone your skills with axes, blades and bows, and prepare yourself by crafting the very best equipment – for it is only by defeating these Forsaken that you will advance in your progress and prove yourself to the Allfather.

Raise Viking longhouses and build bases that offer reprieve from the dangers ahead. Whether you build a small shelter, an entire village or a mountain-side fortress, defence and structural integrity are important, as is decorating it for maximum comfort!

As you discover new materials, you will learn new recipes for crafting, building and cooking – all that a Viking might need! The food system is rewarding rather than punishing, granting you boons and benefits depending on what you eat, and is directly tied to the combat system, where your health and stamina might be just the thing that makes a difference between life and death.
Community-translated languages
In addition to the officially supported languages, Valheim has several community-translated languages. As the name would suggest, these are all translated by fans and members of the community, and the process is frequently ongoing. Thus, we cannot guarantee the quality or completeness of any specific translation.
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

I've never felt so immersed in a game before. I wish I could experience this game all over again.
is good
This is a game I resisted getting for some time because I knew it would suck me in. It has and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. The game has some challenge but nothing a bit of effort to learn and understand won't solve and the progression is largely well done where each new biome you must discover the foes, gather the materials and then master it with your new gear. It feels rewarding for it which goes far. This works particularly well when returning to previous biomes where things feel increasingly trivial as you advance beyond them. The addition of world options did much to help reduce the grind aspect of the game (this also features difficulty controls too, so it's quite customisable if you wish), I happily play on my solo world with extra drops so I don't have to put as much time in on the material gathering. Building is great, one of the better systems out there, and I have built many edifices to Odin and to live in, and farmed a great deal of crops. It's my go to relaxation game to unwind and it works every time. What makes it even better is doing it with friends as you fight, work, and build together to raise mighty halls and fortifications (and defend them from time to time). The game is not perfect of course; the ocean biome is too barren and fishing is both pretty devoid of fun and lacking in reward (I usually like fishing to go along with my farming, but not so much here). The armour sets need some kind of additional variety so you aren't almost always wearing the same as your friends, and some building pieces could also do with more alternatives. There's some other more minor things like the inventory system being somewhat basic, and certain weapons/concepts being introduced a bit later than I'd like in not spanning enough upgrades/biomes but this is isn't an obstacle to the game's fun. If you like this type of game you will definitely enjoy yourself here; you get out what you put in and more besides - and that's before you play with friends where it is even more fun.
Until mistlands, all fine. Quite fun first 30 hours. Afterwards, its just bull crap. Infinite grind, stupidly OP enemies and just weak magic that was introduced too late. Hotlands are just unreasonable in all regards. Its quite obvious devs don't play their own game anymore, no reckoning for neither optimisation or gameplay enjoyance.
Greatest survival craft game of all time. The actual goat of survival games. The atmosphere for Valheim is unmatched as well as the music. The simplistic graphics make the game that much more enjoyable. I spent almost 500 hours on this game and still haven't fought half the bosses the game has to offer. The grind is very fun and honestly never gets boring to me. Enemies feel well balanced the and the skill sets are fun to level up. I spend a majority of my time building villages. Going into 1.0 ill probably finish up my world and then start a brand new play through. People complain about this game taking so much time to hit 1.0 and that other survival games hit 1.0 quicker but those games still can't match the vibe Valheim gives off. I probably wont have the game finished until i invest another 500 - 1000 hours. The game has so much content and replay ability that its worth the money, on top of this there is a ton of mods you can get to make the game never ending with content.
I hate this game
Great to play with friends. Definitely has some issues with lag and can be difficult to play on a computer that isn't set up for gaming. Been playing for years in early access and am excited for it to finally be in 1.0 soon. The progression is a lot of fun and it is really rewarding to get to new areas where the difficulty ramps up and more mechanics are introduced.
