About

Vagrus is an award-winning roleplaying game with a narrative focus, open-world exploration, and strong elements of strategy. The player takes the role of a vagrus - a caravan leader who strives to survive in a strange and perilous dark fantasy world by leading a traveling company on all kinds of ventures.

A vast realm is yours to explore, filled with unique locations, strange factions, and a colorful cast of characters. In order to punish the Empire for its sins, the Elder Gods unleashed their power a thousand years ago that resulted in the devastation of the realms. The continent is now a wasteland, riddled with arcane anomalies, swarming with twisted monsters, and haunted by roaming undead even after long centuries of rebuilding.

A large selection of stories make up the game’s narrative in the form of events, encounters, and quests. The choices you make in these often affect your companions as well as the world around you. Pick your background from trader, mercenary, or explorer; work for factions, pursue rumors and trading opportunities; acquire wealth, gain fame, and discover hidden knowledge.

Engage in turn-based, tactical combat that involves your companions and a large variety of enemies, both humanoid and monstrous. Use a wide range of character skills as well as your own leadership-related abilities to succeed. Positioning and support skills are of paramount importance in these challenging engagements.

Journeys have to be planned and prepared for carefully, lest they end in disaster. Manage your supplies, morale, and your crew’s vigor effectively to survive. Haul cargo and valuables across the wasteland or take it from others. Your crew of workers, fighters, scouts, and slaves have to be supervised closely to optimize their effectiveness.

A wide variety of companions can work for you in versatile caravan roles, such as scoutmaster, guard captain, treasure hunter, or beast handler. Each companion comes with unique combat skills, background stories, and personal quest lines that can upgrade them further when you complete them.

Ally yourself with mighty factions that shape the Riven Realms with their influence on commerce, brutal wars, and their constant intrigue. From prosperous Trading Houses to criminal syndicates and religious organizations, these groups offer powerful rewards and boons to those loyal to their cause. But take heed - befriending a faction will more than likely antagonize some of the others.

Amazing game, great writing, feels like tabletop adventure brought to pc. Great depth in both game mechanics and lore. As long as you don't mind reading you will love it.
其他到没什么,就是里面的很多npc都太丑了。。。或者说长得过于猎奇了感觉,要是可以调整一下就好了
I really love the main story and world building!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game. A lot of reading and one playthrough will take a lot of time, but it is worth it
Great Game! I really look forward to dying in my first solo game and starting over with what I learned. Feels like a rogue-lite FTL in a fantasy world with a very detailed universe. Lots of reading. I wish there were more unique events and companions.

Game is awesome, a perfect mix of CRPG and caravan simulator. In a lot of cases it's punishing and difficult, but highly rewarding if you commit to it and consistent once you overcome the learning curve. Lots to explore, lots to discover, and the world is interesting and unique. Plenty of meaningful choices that impact your party and the factions around you.
Very fun and underrated game. Great game for fans of Darksun, it has a lot of the same vibes and it works well as a sandbox rpg.
Great game to which i keep coming back from time to time. Overall i cant recommend it enough but it will be suitable for a certan type of person only. This is definitely not a game which you binge in a couple of nights. It has gargantuan amounts of reading and while it is mostly good to excellent, the sheer number of it will eventually lead to the stuff blurring together. Also devs you reqally need to indicate which dialogue options have already been explored and have nothing further to show except lore which you have already read. Keeping in your head which topics you have already discussed after some time away from the game is quite tedious. There is also an issue of the first DLC Sunfire and Moonshadow being too heavy on "Do the thing x number of times until arbitrary number in qualities goes up". It becomes extremely tedious, especially since you are not guaranteed to progress the quest with each attempt. Heart of Ruin also suffers from the same problem with expeditions content, but due to overall much better (imo) writing quality it does not become as tedious as the first one. This game already demands so much of your time that i really feel that the devs should completely do away with this artificial extending of playtime with the use of randomness. If you do the thing, you should get the quest thing 100% of the time, especially if you need to get the thing like 20 times. The biggest culprits which almost made me ragequit this game completely are sunken tower, deadwood samples and Tamarra's coffee plantation.
