Until Dawn - 10/10 One of the heavy hitters when it comes to story-driven games. Played through this twice and it held up completely the second time, which says a lot on its own. The atmosphere gets you first: stunning landscapes, genuinely some of the best environmental design in the genre. But the story is where it earns its reputation, branching choices that actually feel like they matter, characters you get invested in, and a horror-mystery pacing that keeps pulling you forward. Sound design is excellent too, though I'll admit the original PS4 soundtrack edges out the remaster for me. Small nitpick in an otherwise fantastic package. The Quarry tried to follow in these footsteps and fell flat by comparison, which only makes me more eager for Until Dawn 2 to actually deliver. Overall: amazing experience, easily worth replaying, and a genuine standout in its category. 10/10.

Definitiv zu empfehlen! Ich kenne ja noch die alte Version und die hat mich schon komplett gefangen. Die Story ist auch nach Jahren weiterhin absolut solide, mit den ganzen Wahlmöglichkeiten an Dialog und Spielwegen. Ein Fehler und du bist weg vom Fenster. War wirklich sehr nostalgisch :) Das Game baut mehr auf bedrückende Atmosphäre und Story, statt auf direkten Jumpscare Horror, was ich sehr wertschätze. Wer das also erwartet ist hier leider falsch. Grafik top, Sound top, (Tastatur-)Gameplay top! 1A Soundkulisse , super Weltdesign, geiles Storytelling! Ebenfalls super sind die unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten der Charaktere. Man hasst sie und/oder man liebt sie. Sollten sich Story-Horrorfans unbedingt auf die Wishlist setzen.
