Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The spiritual successor to Freelancer, Underspace is an open-world sandbox RPG with a Lovecraftian twist, where every star system is handcrafted, and every star system has something to see or do. Jump into the bizarre galaxy of Croft, step into the role you want, and thrive alone or online with friends (multiplayer on near term Early Access roadmap). But beware! The storms rule the stars.
Be a miner picking through crystallized bones of ancient star beasts, a trader hauling artifacts to far-flung outposts, a pirate robbing spacetrains, an explorer combing through lost stellar cities, or a hunter chasing down unknowable monstrosities that spew forth from the storms. Brave violent weather, eldritch beasts, and the terrors of the unknown as you make your mark in the universe.
16 main campaign missions
60 sidequests
36 bosses
114 star systems (no fast travel - all open world + lanelines for accelerated travel)
204 stations
533 equipment pieces to customize your ship
Player housing and extensive cockpit customization
Online multiplayer
Integrated mod support
Over 68 enemy types
~12-15 hours to beat the main quest
Around 300 hours of gameplay for a completionist
The galaxy is not a safe, sane place. Hyperspatial tempests sweep through space, distorting star systems and spewing forth strange hazards, even stranger monstrosities, and incredible treasures. Traverse over 110 handcrafted star systems, any of which could fall victim to foul weather.
Strike out into the starry unknown, and comb through ancient starcities, warped graveyards, or fields of lost wormholes. The galaxy is filled with unique adventures and puzzles waiting for a starchaser to discover and rob them.
Away from the highways and deep in the most remote parts of space lie hidden challenges. you'll face off against world-eating serpents, possessed battleships, and living minefields. End the lives of over 35 unique bosses.
Fly, paint, and customize over 60 different ships. Outfit yourself with over 500 pieces of equipment. Choose your race, build your character, and try not to get eaten by a ghost train.
Even in the face of the great storms, life goes on. Befriend or befuddle over 40 different factions, all with their own alliances, goals, and preferences. Pursue random assignments, or discover hidden stories and questionable motives in over 45 unique sidequests.
Strip asteroids of their precious resources, fabricate technology to sell and utilize. Ship over 50 different types of cargo to over 200 stations, or pirate it off the imbeciles who stray into your territory. From dashing hero to dastardly hellpriest, experience the galaxy the way you want.

Ok, I know my playtime is short in this but Ive also messed with the demo a few times previously and the same problem from back then is still very much apparent and is edging me towards reluctantly refunding - the audio. This is a weird one, I cant thumbs down for an issue not all people will perceive as bad as I do but I'm also not sure if ill keep the game as I don't know if I can actually cope with it. Before I get into that let me say some good stuff. I'm an old Freelancer fanboy and spent way too many hours in the campaign and on the old Jolt multiplayer servers back in the day, this game manages to keep the vibe of the original while adding some more stuff to the mix. I personally didnt think I'd be into the Eldritch elements but what I did see was truly impressive and nails the visual atmosphere so damn well with horror elements that just ooze class. It had me on the edge of the seat the first time I went into the storm! The planetside first person sections are a welcome sight for any old FL head too, its such an experience to walk around! The visuals genuinely get me chubbed up so far. UI is very similar to FL, even the hotkeys for things match FL which was nice, muscle memory kicks in straight away. Some issues here or there with the UI but nothing worth much mention. Controls seem a bit sluggish compared to the OG FL and the mode where you have to click on screen first to turn seems to only engage the turning when the mouse is near the edges of the screen which is a weird change from the OG control scheme. I really want to play more of this and see everything it has to offer but from the minute I started playing I'm repeatedly smashed in the head by the audio. I'm going to state something here which is going to sound harsh (no pun intended) - the audio in this game is among the WORST I've heard in recent times. I'm struggling to think of anything else and I'm not saying that to be mean. Anyway, rather than just make that statement I'll go into detail: The balance is all over the place - the music doesnt sit well in the mix (part of this could be the music choices, a simpler scifi ambient style would literally sit better in a busy audio mix than pirates of the caribean in space stuff), the individual SFX have wildly different volumes and everything just doesnt sound like it's in the game space at all. It all sounds completely disconnected from the experience. Its an absolute experience killer for me. The SFX are dry, uninspired and some are outright questionable choices especially considering the strange volume issues compounding the issue. The ship engine either sounds ear splittingly loud or is whispering quiet depending on flight mode - there is a weird audio pan on the engine sound when you move your ship side to side and it just sounds odd. The mission chime is both obnoxiously loud in the mix and almost designed to annoy a player - a super tinny high pitched transient blended into a chime sound. The explosions in the intro have no weight, the gun sounds seem totally meh and the hit sounds seem even meh-er. This is all present in the first few minutes of the game, and I find it impossible to ignore. The start sequence of the user playing the game after the intro is like a checklist of how to show off your bad audio design - loud elevator sounds with no background musical ambience, super loud low end drones while on landing pads (non looping, enjoy that sample ending and repeating over and over again if you stand there longer than a short while), followed by a HUGE difference in volume level when you go to the office (almost silent besides the sounds of the trains passing outside) and then while in the silent office that obnoxious mission chime kicks in giving your ears a jumpscare mixed with nails on a chalkboard. Then you embark and get slammed with a hodgepodge mix of audio once you leave the planet rings...at which point i assume most players just turn the speakers volume right down - if they hadnt already from the mission chime lol. I mean this from a good place - please for the love of Gaben do an extra audio pass! I understand that its essentially a solo dev's passion project and as a Freelancer fan I almost, almost LOVE this game, damn, I WANT to love this game. But if it takes someone with better ears to help out then I would really suggest you get someone involved to help. It would make a huge difference to the players experience - at bare minimum they should not have to ride the volume to play a game without getting ear-raped.

This one needs more time in the oven; but the potential for something special is there.
you know what I really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate? CONSTANT "HINT" WINDOWS COMING UP NON STOP AS YOU'RE PLAYING INTERRUPTING THE FLOW OF THE GAME. MAYBE NOT HAVE 4 CONSTANT HINT WINDOWS COME UP ON THE FIRST ESCORT MISSION?
it could be good but the communication in this game is terrible texts too fast to read(especialy if your mother language isnt english) they need a voice or stop the game while the communication play as it is its nearly unplayable if u copy from freelancer than dont try to make it worse their communication was not great but at least it worked somehow just a communication log would be probably enough

Underspace is a Freelancer-Like in all the correct ways, with a lovecraftian layer. Pros: - Sunning at times with its composition, the graphics are classic in style but modern in rendering. - Faithfull reimagining of a freelancer-like world with a great mix of lovecraftian elements. - Enormous support for modding! - Solid dedicated server hosting. - Responsive solo developer - Cats! - Runs brilliantly! - Flight is Simple to learn, hard to master - Commerce, combat, exploration all represented as activities in this universe Cons: - NPC and Player Character models, while unique, could be better and have more options. They stick out in places and feel placeholder or static/lifeless. This can always be improved. - Sharp learning curve especially for those not familiar with this game type of yore. - The only con in my eyes are the NPC and player models. - Lighting in some scenes is, awkward, clashing with the environment. Needs refinement. ** Single player has a long interesting story that really fills in the lore of this unique universe. (Though it does need some solid voice acting to help with more modern tastes) ** Multiplayer is a great open sandbox universe where you make your own stories. If you are a fan of Discovery-Freelancer, Freelancer or Everspace 1-2, I fully recommend this title.
I have long been looking for a game like freelancer and was surprised to see how close this game was to the same thing. I did a lot of research and the other similar games just didn't seem to interest me. Either they were too much of a pay to play style, didn't have a multiplayer option, or just didn't seem close enough to Freelancer. It has been so many years since I played but relearning everything was easy. I played through the campaign and while I did enjoy it, it seemed to be on the shorter side. Traveling around space can be an unpredictable adventure. At one time something happen to the jump gate when I went through bringing me to this really strange galaxy. I don't know how to describe this frightening thing or being but it was a thrill trying to escape it's beams of light as I was no where yet near it's match. I have so much more exploring to do along with trying multiplayer. Upon reading about this game, it's still being developed and has always had very limited resources. Considering that, they have done a hell of a great job so far.
Feels like a glimpse at what a AAA space game could have been. Fixes many of the major issues with freelancer (not the least of which being it is 1000 years old and temperamental to get running). I've played around 10 hours so far (which is usually about as far as I get in games) and it has been constantly throwing interesting and unexpected stuff at me. One caveat being that it is a bit buggy, I've had to reload from saves a few times because main quest stuff didn't proc (but it is early access so I'll give it a bit of leeway but it still needs a lot of debugging work). Overall a fun universe to spend some time in, I might even spend more time in it...
A space Ship shooter with the feel of cowboy bebop what could be better. Also is a good game for average computers my pc is not that great and it runs like a charm.
Don't do this often but this game is a decent successor to Freelancer. Much more depth and far more involved with things that can be done etc. Great game for the fighter, trader and space type pplz out there :D
