a really lovely narrative game. played the whole thing through, and poked around a little to see some of the other branches. the setting is easy to get into, the characters are endearing and deep, the plots of the missions are interesting, and the overall plot is exciting. has some excellent twists. the adventure game puzzles are unobtrusive and sometimes interesting, the art is expressive and personal, and the whole conceit just works. i wish there was more! which is a good feeling to end on.
Buen juego. No esta en español, hasta donde se. Lo juge en ingles. Pero si entiendes el lenguaje, de maravillarás con los dialogos, el apartado artistico, la interesante historia de detectives y la excelente actuación de voz. Además, los puzzles no son complicados, lo cual te permite disfrutar la historia en vez de estar haciendo click por todos lados para divinar la solución. Recomendado!

This is a good game. I was lucky to have someone to hang out and chat with while I played it. At one point, she started calling this game "Having a 'Normal One' in New York" and I feel that name is appropriate.
Probably the best Wadjet Eye effort. It really integrates RPG mechanics so well into the point-and-click puzzle interface we've become so used to. Art and music were as fantastic as ever, as was the voice acting. A high watermark, in my mind, for the point-and-click as a whole.
One of the more animated point and click games I have played. An interesting story of the main character being possessed by a demon and having to make morally based decisions. Pros: -Great voice acting -Lots of varying scenes -Character switching -Medium level puzzles -Good story -Kaykay being all sassy -Multiple outcomes based on decisions -personal Djinn -great city vibe Cons: -There was a picture of a kitty cat but no cats in motion -Couldn't regularly hang with Kaykay -Djinn does not actually grant wishes making you find real solutions
По совету друга ознакомился с проектом. Оказалось, что это действительно отличная адвенчура! Как раньше писали в игровых журналах: "От настоящих фанатов жанра". Сеттинг, сюжет, РПГ-элементы (вам придется выбирать с кем из доступных персонажей выходить на локацию), музыка и общая атмосфера отправят вас на ~11часовое свидание с качественным "квестовым" опытом. Отмечу, что игра проще (скорее даже СИЛЬНО проще), чем легендарные представители жанра от LucasArts / DoubleFine и ветеранов это может немного смутить. В остальном - без претензий. Планирую изучить другие проекты студии. P.S. Интересно, что и здесь фамилия Гилберт в титрах на лидирующих позициях. Видимо только людям с этой фамилией доступна "магия квестов" :-)
It's a tragedy is what it is, just a tragedy. Pros -good voice acting. -Porn-sax soundtrack in situations that are inappropriate. -Graphics nail the aesthetic it’s shooting for. Art is good. Cons -Characters that act like idiots despite being 100’s of years old. -A plot designed to include a wild menagerie of creatures across as many mythos as possible in a single story. Ghosts, mermaids, dryads, elementals, wizards, demons, genie, half genie, half demons, fae, portals, convenient spiritual energy rules, mind control, three other dimensions, possession, three distinctly different types of ghosts with their own rules—all within the first hour. This is a mediocre story with no direction, at best. -Linear puzzles that make this a walking simulator more than a point and click adventure game. -The mouse sensitivity is different vertically than it is horizontally.
Great Point and Click. Barely any obscure puzzles. Phenomenal Story. Highly Recommend.
A fantastic modern point-and-click adventure with well written characters, impossible moral dilemmas, and choices that matter.
The Blackwell & Unavowed games might be one of my favourite shared universe adventure game series yet. The characters are flawed (complimentary), rounded, all damaged in their own ways but full of hope, and very easy to love. All the games are essentially about grief, and care, and love (and New York). I love this world and want to spend so much time in it so thank you to Wadjet Eye for giving us six games of it.
