UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

nifty, playing the game for a class
Une compilation de jeux incroyable, méta, au gamplay subtil. Attention ce n'est pas fait pour tout le monde ! Renseignez vous bien avant d'acheter. Mais ça reste une expérience vraiment singulière et incroyable.
Impossible to not recommend this. It's 50 complete games made by a fictitious developer in the 80s for a fictitious console. Each game has little to no instructions apart from what the buttons do, so part of the fun is exploring, trying new games out and figuring out the gameplay loop and optimal strategy. Some of the games are long, several hours affairs - one of them is a full length JRPG. Another one took over two days of my life as I built my base and went exploring for spaceship parts. The deck-building one about kids having a party got me hooked. Some are really addictive. All of them are extremely charming. Highly recommended.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

10/10 et nostalgie garantie!
if you like retro gaming, if you like experimental gaming, if you like variety and if you like difficulty, well you are in the right place ! This game collection is well worth getting, and I've not even scratched half of them in 55h !
There's a charming novelty in the meta presentation of these games as all made by the same fictional studio & developers for fictional consoles. That's cute and fun. But the real killer here is that the games are all good. I'm repeating every other review here, but every single one of these games does something clever or interesting or exciting. I'd say that a majority of them are a steal at the asking price of the whole collection (never mind the sale price) and you could sink dozens of hours into them. Here are five personal favourites. Check em out when you get the game.

Magic Garden
Party House
Grimstone
Pilot Quest
Seaside Drive
(P.S. The most insightful comment I've seen on this game was a Bluesky post that said something along the lines of, "UFO 50 is 2010s indie game design nostalgia disguised as 1980s retro game design nostalgia".)
This game is masterpiece.
Lots of fun games to choose from! If you don't like one genre of game, there are dozens of others to try! The multiplayer games are stupidly fun.
By far- the best game I have ever purchased. This is a daunting game pack to begin with but I PROMISE you there is something for everyone. This made gaming fun again.
Yes. There's a lot of hidden gems here, and well worth it!
