Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
While playing this game I noticed certain themes it had in common with Planescape: Torment, such as the importance and scope of the protagonist's role in the world, and the unique setting. It wasn't until I had finished the game and the credits rolled that I discovered why: Chris Avellone laid the groundwork for the game and the setting before he left Obsidian. Not coincidental then. While not on par with PS:T, this is still an amazing RPG. The amount of lore and worldbuilding in this game reminds me of Morrowind. Combat took some time to get used to for some reason, even though I have played Pillars of Eternity. The classless skillbased system allows for a lot of freedom in character creation, and makes you want to try all sorts of different combinations. The soundtrack and a lot of the voice acting is superb. The game is fairly linear, but your choices really matter, and I often spent quite some time pondering which way to go. Having completed the game allied with one of the game's factions, I immediately wanted to create a new character, try new skills and take a different route through the story. Highly recommended.

I've stopped and started this game a ton of times, I'll probably never finish it. It's alright though, I give it a pass. It's probably the last good game Obsidian ever made.

I pretty much got to make every awful decision that my heart desired. It's a rare gem that lets you have that much freedom, that truly effects the game world and the people in it. The game is outstanding.
No, not for me. It starts exciting but that dropped with every conquest step, with choices between rocks and hard places. The first conversation wasn't better and with the first fight i lost all interest in the fate of my character or any other person in this world.
A budget RPG with interesting ideas held back by flawed execution. Though it's short runtime (for a CRPG) means that by the time the flaws start nagging you'll be done. Good.
What a great game! While its age can be felt a bit (almost 10 years, sheesh!) The setting is really interesting. I wish I had played the game soon-ish after it came out (some bugs were pretty important on release, but fixed later on) My only gripe with the game is that the AI, especially the one of your companions) is dumb as rocks, They either get stuck when moving or aren't casting spells at all during fights (Looking at you Mr. Lantry...) Still had a lot of fun going through most of the quests (the ones I found at least) and finish it in ~15-20 hours.
fun game, felt like it ended quickly and i believe it has potential to be longer.
Somehow I never played this game until this year. Some of the best world building I've seen. Magic crafting system is top notch. Even causal crpg fans should get this.
