Twisted Tower

I took my time when I played this game...that was the first thing I thought to do from the moment I spawned in. It gave me a feeling that I should take it all in as I continue to play. I'm new to this style of game and this game is beautiful. The art style was a big one for me, and there were only a few areas/ moments where I felt kind of safe. Most of the time you feel as if something is going to pop out of no where and you'll be in a terrible situation that you'll have to fight your way out of(My difficulty was set to Twisted, so I'm not sure how it feels to be on the lower difficulties). Gameplay feels smooth, gunplay is satisfying, but I think the only issue I had was the weapon upgrade system, i feel like it was too expensive for some(maybe that's just apart of the Twisted difficulty setting), then again the mascot just loved to tell me that I'm too poor so maybe the high price was intentional lol. Sound in this game was incredible. I think one of the things that stands out to me and will be most memorable, would be the lobby music. It triggered me emotionally, and really made me feel like I could relate to the world(Game world) I was in. The audio and atmosphere really blocked out the noise of everyday life and pulled me into an immersed hyperfocus state, allowing me to feel as if I was truly the one in the game. Not a lot of games have done that for me. To think of it now, I can't remember even one that had me immersed on this level. The story, you'd think you had it figured out somewhere around halfway in, well just wait till you reach your final destination.... To be short, this game was made with love and passion. It's a 100 percent recommendation. P.S. I don't remember the last time I've left a review for a game, or anything really...that should tell you all you need to know.
