It's very good, especially the atmosphere, art, and level design. It would be nice if the developer allowed for manual saves, though. And strangely, the game only tells you that you've reached a save point some of the time. Other times it just saves silently, leaving you guessing how much of the level you'll be repeating if you quit or die.
8.5/10
Kinda good. Don't get fooled by the screens and by what people are saying though, this game barely has anything in relation with Bioshoock except for its atmosphere and artistic direction. Gameplay wise it is more of a fast FPS à la Doom - simple and tedious fights in more or less tight rooms - with upgradable weapons and little secrets here and here. In short it's a pretty enjoyable game for what it is, level design is fair and linear (not comparable at all with Bioshock which was complex and non-linear, more of a RPG of its genre indeed) game run smoothly, art and music are cool, it is a polished product from a passionnate developper.

I really enjoyed Twisted Tower! The art style is great, sound design works perfectly and the gameplay is a lot of fun! The thing that stood out the most to me was the story and the voice acting, there was obvious a lot of thought put into it and it is fantastic. If it wasn't for the low quality cut scenes I don't think anyone would have guessed that it was made by a very small group of people. Absolutely worth the asking price. If you like these types of games then you can not go wrong with this one. I whole heartedly recommend.
Feels bioshock adjacent. Fun little game.
I've never heard about Twisted tower until I watch Gmanlives review on the game and I was hooked in. pros: the story is good but the ending though, what plot twist of a ending. there is a lot of gun variety and have some really good and creative designs. enemy variety is great there's a lot of different enemy types. graphics there ok not bad but not great ether but the designs of the maps look good. cons: I feel like the story good where it is but it doesn't explain like how does Mr. Twister afford to make the twisted tower, what's the history of the park, who are the enemies we're fighting against (are they form a prison or mental asylum), who's the uncle, does magic exist? the maps are little too big that I ended up trying to find the enemies instead of the enemies finding me. some guns feeling under power or don't need to be there like the marble gun can one shot some enemies but the sling shot does the same thing but has to charge up to do so and the last gun you get feels so useless that it's better to use all the other options. despite how many enemies there are they don't throw a whole lot at you but trickle them in even though I should be getting swarmed. despite the negatives it's a really a great game 8/10
The real twisted tower is the friends we made along the way
Atmosphere is incredible, combat is snappy and very juicy, every weapon feels unique enough to be used depending on the circumstances. The game breathes Bioshock from every point, which is a good thing. I believe the biggest downside though, is the level design. Layouts felt like a succession of room>corridor>room>corridor. Not many meaningful breaks from the grid. Spaces didn't really feel believable, a thing that Bioshock nailed in my opinion, and what gave it that huge special feeling while traversing its spaces. Also the levels are fairly simple, not many alternate paths to explore or branching sections. Almost every level starts with a locked door in front of you and has you search for the key in a linear path. I believe that if you put Bioshock's level design into this game, it would almost be a dream game for me, because I loved every other aspect of it! Solid 8/10!
mega game, bioshock like
A really fun short shooter with some platforming think a bit of doom eternal meets the original bioshock set to a carnival theme with an actually nice story.
