Twisted Tower

This game is a little gem. It took me about 5 hours to beat the game on my first playthrough, and I'm now on my second playthrough in New Game Plus mode. The game is built around the rather worn-out »damsel in distress« trope, which has never been one of my favorites. However, towards the end, the story takes a rather pleasant turn. If you've been paying attention throughout the game, you might even see it coming, but I still really enjoyed it. I also really like the wonderfully bizarre weapons, which fit perfectly with the theme of a twisted and eccentric amusement park. The overall visual design is very cohesive and does a great job of capturing a blend of 1940s amusement park and circus aesthetics with Art Nouveau influences. I can definitely see why the game gets compared to BioShock so often. At €15, I think the game is fairly priced. If you're skeptical, I'd certainly recommend picking it up during a sale. Personally, though, I felt that what the game offers is absolutely fair for the amount of time it takes to complete.

Great game! Amazing theme. Made me scare jump few times! Weapons have great sound and feel. Enemies do feel unique and story is top notch! For this price I do recommend.

Completed the game ♥♥♥♥ ending fun run and gun tho

This game is so worth your time and money, Short, concise, but insanely fun with a great story. If you enjoyed bioshock and its gun and looting mechanics, you will love this game. One of my favorite games this year for sure.

"Poor man Doom with British dark humor." -5/10 game but for 14€ is okay. I play this game purely out of appreciation for Thomas Brush youtube channel.

This game take me back to 2000-s, when I play doom, wolwenstein etc. 10 weapons, little secrets at each level and a lot of shooting. And, ofcourse, story. Nice one.
