Feels and plays like the new bioshock
This game is good fun! It nails the atmosphere and the whole setting. The gunplay gets all the basic right, it's satisfying and fun to shoot, but nothing crazy. The game might be a little too easy as your weapons are generally pretty powerful and the enemy AI is very simple, but it is still satisfying. The story is ok, nothing groundbreaking but interesting enough to keep you going through the game. I'm writing this bc I think it's important to have the right expectations going into the game to enjoy it! In short, if you want a fun 6h of shooting with some good voice acting sprinkled in, give it a spin! Try the demo if you're unsure.

Twisted Tower is one of my new favorite games! The eerie setting, spooky encounters, and demented Mr. Twister have kept me on the edge of my seat while trying to make my way through the tower. I personally love the Big Band/40s music in the background (reminds me of BioShock and gives me an eerie feeling when trying to survive in a hellish place). The creative weapon choices (love the Marble Magnum!) give me great satisfaction as I blow away all those nasty spiders, lunatic clowns, and many other crazy creatures (the fire-breathing Sea Horses are insane!) that relentlessly attack you along the way. I have more to go, but I’m looking forward to conquering the tower!!! I highly recommend this game!
Very fun gunplay and awesome story. Some butthole jokes. Loved it.
Cinematic masterpiece 📽️ Lights 💡 Camera 🎥 Action 👊🏻🔫 This game is fire & fun 🔥
An atmospheric survival shooter with touches of BioShock, but generally quite straightforward. It’s a return to when games were simply fun, without any extra drama. A guy has to rescue his girlfriend from a theme park tower and a mad, evil actor with a twist. Highly recommended and fairly priced for its length.
The fact that the world reacted to me was really rewarding. Thank you so much for adding collision to so many environmental props and rewards to banging on stuff with the hammer in the intro. It makes exploration fun. I'm only about 30 minutes in, but I can already tell this is going to be fantastic! So much polish and atmosphere! Would recommend.
A really enjoyable (and cheap!) Bioshock-lite, highly recommend!
This game feels like a hidden gem you found in a bargain bin on the ps3/360 era and I mean that in the best possible way. It absolutely nails 2 things:The pacing and the pricing. New enemies, guns and tools are introduced on a steady pace to always keep things fresh and bying this over mediocre take out is a no brainer. I loved the art direction since evil theme parks and dark towers in the middle of nowhere surounded by water are some of my favourie aesthetics,I especially enjoyed the interlevel parts where you scale the outside of the tower and wish there was more of that. The gunplay is satisfying, the weapons are fun to use,it has the good kind of enemy variety where everyone serves a specific function and encounters get interesting when the game throws multiple types on you.I may be in the minority but I really like platforming sections in first person shooters and from around the halfway point of the game theres plenty of that here. The only real critisicm is that everything about the ending is disapointing. The final space station level is the worst of the 5 and feels somwhat disjointed tone wise, the final boss barely puts up a fight and dies way too easy (I played on Hard) even though it has cool mechanics and the story ends with a goofy twist that sours the entire narrative,I was expecting something much darker from the tone of this game.
It's honestly no surprise to see that this game is very positive. From the fun action packed gameplay, the wonderful soundtrack roaring in my ears, and of course the amazing story I went through was truly like a Disney fairy tale. The art style was very nostalgic. It brought me back to the good old days of original films like Alice in wonderland, Willy Wonka, and The wizard of OZ. We need more games like this because it's so heartwarming and more memorable to cherish. The story I resonated with especially because when I was a little kid I got bullied because people thought I was stupid and gullible, people thought they can toy with me. Although, I wasn't the best child out there, but most of the time I would be nice to people. I love Vincent being the main character, and not your average smart hero, who knows what he's doing. This is a kind of character that is lost and doesn't know what the right answer is all of the time, but at the end of the day he will do what ever it takes to save his loved ones at any cost. That's the kind of character most stories need. Twisted Tower is a game II will hold dear to my heart and it is one of the best indie games I have played EVER! However, there were some inconsistencies with the gameplay and issues I ran into, but they were minor and didn't really affect my gameplay overall. So with that being said, I rate Twisted Tower a 9/10!
