Turing Complete

I might get some backlash on my review, but it's an honest one. If you can naturally learn how to do things without a proper breakdown, you'll probably have no issues. The puzzles get thrown at you without any education on how to complete the puzzles. I was able to make it through the earlier stages, and even then, I needed to click the solve puzzle button. I did learn very basic things through this game about gates and how they work, but as it progresses, I was not educated on how to solve the puzzles.

高考后的暑假，我如愿换上了新电脑，却在两周后不幸患上了电子ED。机缘巧合之下，我发现了这款益智烧脑“小”游戏，并且一发不可收拾，整整一周都泡在这款游戏中。在40个小时的头脑风暴中，我经受了苦思冥想、绞尽脑汁的痛苦，也获得了豁然开朗、幡然醒悟的欣喜，最终通过了这款游戏当前版本的所有关卡，然后撰写了这条评测。 本人有一定的编程基础，曾经深深震撼于python、c++等高级编程语言所写出的优雅代码，但我始终有一个疑惑：这些高级语言与计算机最底层硬件之间是通过何种方式连接起来的呢？直到我游玩了《Turing Complete》，我对CPU架构、汇编语言的理解进一步加深，我的疑惑也在一关又一关的思索中逐渐解除。 《Turing Complete》目前还处于测试阶段，但仅就我目前所游玩的关卡设计来看，其难度分配极其合理，整体由易到难，由浅入深，但难度又不是严格递增，保证了游玩者思维的张弛有度。从基本的逻辑门到一个图灵完备的“电脑”，从简单的信号处理到复杂的算法逻辑，从令人眼花缭乱的硬件搭建到头脑风暴般的程序书写，《Turing Complete》是一款游戏，却又是知识最好的播种机，当玩家如图灵当年一般亲手搭建出一台电脑的时候，其中的知识和思想将会比其他任何方式记忆得更牢固、理解得更深刻，并且发自内心地感叹：发明这玩意的真他娘的是个天才！ 另外，游戏中还有许多其他可圈可点之处。比如其排行榜、沙盒模式、电路图分享等等，这些功能都保证了玩家在通关完剧情关卡后仍有充实的可玩内容，。无论是凹延迟量、耗能，还是在沙盒模式中造一些奇奇怪怪的装置，只要你有充足的兴趣和想象力，《Turing Complete》一定会给你提供广阔天地。 最后是一点游玩建议。虽然《Turing Complete》是一款游戏,但它对玩家的逻辑思维能力和数学建模能力的要求还是比较高的。如果你在游玩过程中卡关了，可以先去干点别的，或者睡一觉等第二天醒了再思考，这样往往会让你产生新的想法和思路。不到山穷水尽还是不建议大家看攻略或提示的，毕竟自己独立解决难题后的正反馈真的是无可替代的。 最后衷心祝愿各位玩得开心，学得愉快（￣︶￣）↗　

Отличная игра, которая быстро ставит на место твое инженерное эго. На этапе сборки первого полусумматора ты еще чувствуешь себя гением цифровой логики, но по мере усложнения задач процесс превращается в особый вид технического мазохизма. Настоящее испытание начинается, когда ты пишешь код на ассемблере и скармливаешь его процессору, который ты же сам и спроектировал. Видеть, как всё падает, и осознавать, что винить абсолютно некого - бесценно. Здесь нет внешних багов или кривых инструментов: если не работает, значит, ты лично заложил критический изъян в логику несколькими этапами ранее. К финалу схема архитектуры может напоминать технологическую катастрофу, но она работает, и это приносит невероятное удовлетворение. Потрясающий опыт принятия полной ответственности за свои технические решения. 10/10, пойду переделывать всё с нуля, потому что теперь я знаю, как сделать это элегантнее.

This game has single-handedly introduced me to low-level computing, sparked a life-long interest and changed my life by shaping my career decisions. Since I started playing this game, I built multiple single-board computers, I programmed thousands of lines of assembly, I enrolled as an electrical engineer and I plan to spend my vocational life working on similar things. All thanks to this game. I have recommended it to everyone I could and I couldn't recommend it more to anyone reading this. This game requires a certain mind. I for one absolutely love compacting my design into rectangles, then adding and improving my design, just so I can compact it again. But you're going to need some patience as the devs work on the transition from 1.0 to 2.0 and eventually to 3.0. Though I'm certain that they're doing their best, progress has been slow and I don't expect that to change. Nonetheless, I can say for myself that these $20 were the best $20 I have ever spent (and probably will ever spend).

Hi, I want to thank for Turing Complete! Since 2002, when I first started using a computer, I’ve always wondered: "How does it actually work?". The game is incredible! It fundamentally changes one’s perception of computer technology. Completing it requires immense concentration and cognitive effort — depending, of course, on how deep one wants to dive into the concepts you explain through gameplay. To me, this game is not meant to be played without a full understanding of every step and the logic behind the systems created. The most valuable part is that deep and profound realization you reach on your own by solving challenges without looking for external solutions. It was an incredible journey. It doesn't feel like "just a game" at all! I have finally finished it! HUGE THANKS!
