Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power

This doesn't feel as fun compared to Trine 1 or 2, sure the world looks much more beautiful and polished but everything about the gameplay (combat + puzzles) just lacks the thrill I felt playing the first 2 games. Despite that, I'd still recommend because it dives deeper into the origins of Trine and its world Good: - I enjoy more Trine world building - Really appreciate how the devs have improved on their UI - very little tedious menus and displays compared to previous games - sadly, the only improvement Bad: - Combat and exploration has no consequences - simply a minor inconvenience to revive a character - No more secret and hard-to-find collectibles

An unfinished mess that was never even finished. Unless you like a game to be simplified and have the charm/sandboxyness removed from it I suggest you look elsewhere. at first I thought the people who trashed the game were overreacting but nah its actually just bad lmao. it doesnt function properly and everything is complete jank.

Um, no. I like Trine games a lot, but this ain't it. The transition to 3D ain't it, the bosses are also very weak, the ending is pretty awful, and the bugs, unlike the previous games, are more annoying than fun. The respawn mechanic is terrible in this one, you die by phasing through platforms, the thief feels absolutely horrendous to play... I can't wait to play the next ones tho, which look a lot better. Glad this is just a weak point in the series, and not a game that killed it.

抛开半成品不谈。抛开3D化带来的蛋疼的视角、操作问题不谈。本作其实还可以，音乐美术依然在线，关卡的设计也还不错。感觉是制作组当时想3D化，结果做了一部分发现成本或者制作难度太大，直接把做好的部分拼凑出的一部作品。 三位一体系列可以跳过的一部。 通关3之后，又玩了几个小时的四代，对比起2D作品，三代就是垃圾，画面、操作、谜题……一系列不如2D作，去玩1245，别玩3。

felt like a cheap attempt to make more money off on a somewhat established franchise. it sadly doesn't fix any issues the first and second game have and if you fully beat the first 2 this one will be the most boring one out of all of them.

The 3D platforming idea is cool but HORRIBLEE. It is unpredictable and imprecise. The puzzles are a pain to deal with. Not even gonna mention how clunky the controls are. Sure the concept and design is fun but that is about it.
