This game crashed many times in the main menu. When I could get it to play, it would not acknowledge I had a gamepad plugged in. This game might be good, but I can't tell since it won't work.
I will make this review as short as possibe. The game doesnt work! I tried getting the controls to work for 26 min and couldn't get it to start. For that I am grateful because God knows I wasted too much of my life on games I don't really want to play. GL HF

This is an excellent Metroidvania game where you sail around different islands looking for treasure
This game is super fun!
November 2018 "The fine folks at Tolma4Team did a FANTASTIC job with the localization and made the process as painless for me as possible. I was constantly impressed with their professionalism, quality and speed."
I played the former version of this game and when I just revisited it I was blown away! It has retained its soul and I'm excited what is to come! I plan on adding more to the review once I've further delved into this world of treasure. After about 19 hours in the game (and completing the first play through with 100%): I've found myself a treasure! Again!

Looks and plays worse than the freeware version. Despite superficially seeming better, the animations especially on human characters and most of all on the player character are incredibly stiff and jarring. Hitboxes on you and on damage sources are disjointed from the visual locations enough to make it virtually impossible to do any sort of precise platforming around obstacles without taking damage; this is the majority of what you do in the game. Game is plagued by a game-breaking bug where, if played for long enough in one session, requires the program to be restarted in order to fix; game hasn't been updated in over 2 years so it's unlikely this will ever be fixed. Design issues are present, but the design in general is effectively identical to the freeware game so any and all issues there carry over here. Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise that no one bought this game: with the freeware Treasure Adventure Game being available as one of the only full games offered for free on a major digital games marketplace, it has certainly gotten many orders of magnitude the exposure that this game has, while being a better version of the same game. This game goes on sale for as little as $1 fairly often. If you really want to try this game, wait for a sale first.
This is a very under rated metroidvania game. It's not amazing, but it certainly deserves more attention it currently has. Metroivania/exploration - one of my best experiences. The game is not very hard...I had 0 actual deaths and last boss is an actual joke. I was pretty disappointed with the combat. But, it shines when it comes to the exploration aspect. It's pretty open world exploration after you get through the introduction part. There is some degree of sequence breaking, as I always tried to go into areas that aren't marked on the map. There is an option for the game to "tell you" where to go, thereby removing the metroidvania/exploration aspect, but I never utilized this. Any fan of metroidvania should do the same. If you're utilizing this tool and just linearly going about the game, then this game is absolute trash.
