its good simulator plus accessible for everyone (not in price tho...) supports the LGBTQ+ community minus very buggy dlc prices are jokes

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very badly optimized. I can run Cyberpunk 2077 at Best settings (including maximum ray tracing) but this game runs like trash on Ultra. Guided routes just take way too long and checkpoint system is super useless. Yes, return to last checkpoint actually spawns you at last stop that might have been a hour play time ago. Wow. Tutorial seems to be rushed, especially for the last training modules, even though it started very good. And that people praise that this game has so many DLCs is actually funny, because this just points out how much content the base game is actually missing and makes me feel like this is just a huge money grab from train fans - but don't even get me started how superficial this game is: the trains onboard systems are mostly incomplete or wrong, you can't enter engine rooms, station announcements are missing (there is rarely ANY talking/comms with anyone), there are no train conductors and the passengers feel so unreal that walking through the train or stations will just make you sad (as its useless anyway because you can't even open the door to the toilet). In just 4 hours of playtime I encountered a lot of bugs, frustration and saw rarely any love to detail. Can not recommend.
Don't recommend this game. They re-badge it every year at a huge cost to you. Absolute cash grab
There's not much to do besides tutorials unless you're willing to give an entire paycheck to this game.
Each new iteration of this game is GREAT! But, come on DTG, a new one every year? At least skip a yr so us players dont feel ripped off.
AND NOW!!! RELEASING TSW 6!!!!!!!. DON'T LET THEM SCAM YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
性能优化问题太严重了,4060笔记本在中画质下都带不动这个游戏。
Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is behind a paywall, there is zero progression.
I always thought a train sim would bore me eventually, but after 430+ hours in Train Sim World 5, I realize I was wrong. There is something meditative about watching the tracks stretch forward, adjusting throttle, obeying signals, hearing each engine growl differently in tunnels, and watching scenery fly by. It is not about adrenaline, it is about precision, patience, and presence. The new conductor mode is a refreshing twist too: stepping off the seat of the driver to manage doors, check tickets, and feel like part of the journey, not just the machine. Of course, it is not perfect. Sometimes textures pop in weirdly, or the signaling system feels finicky. The menu UI can be a bit cluttered when juggling many routes or DLCs. But these are annoyances, not deal-breakers. The core simulation, the physics, the sound, the pacing,is deeply satisfying, especially when you land a perfect run or nail a route without errors. After hundreds of hours, TSW 5 still makes me want to take "just one more shift". Score: 9/10: A high mark for a game that turns rails and realism into something you keep coming back to.
