Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.38/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In Köln Hbf steht man völlig alleine rum, keine anderen Züge. Güterbahnhöfe sind anscheinend Todeszonen, kein Wagen, keine Lok, nichts. Nur Schienen. Leere Schienen.

★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Train Sim World® 3 has potential, but it’s overpriced and riddled with bugs, making it hard to fully enjoy. The game does improve on previous entries with better weather effects, more detailed trains, and a decent selection of routes, but the overall experience feels frustrating due to technical issues and an aggressive DLC model. The physics and train handling are well done, offering a solid simulation for rail fans. The dynamic weather system, especially driving through heavy rain or snow, adds immersion. However, these improvements don’t justify the steep price, especially when so much content is locked behind expensive DLC. Bugs and performance issues are another major drawback. From broken AI to graphical glitches and crashes, the game often feels unpolished. Some trains and routes also feel copy-pasted from previous games, making the upgrade from Train Sim World 2 feel questionable. For die-hard train enthusiasts, there’s still fun to be had, but at this price, it’s hard to recommend. Unless you’re willing to deal with bugs and pay extra for DLC, you might be better off sticking with previous versions or waiting for a deep sale.

Norfolk Southern should hire me
this ♥♥♥♥ so ass, go buy Train Sim Classic, it gets all the DLCs. Plus you can make your own route and trains, also they dont make 6000 billion new Train Sim {Insert Number} stupid ass company 🙏
Train Sim World will nur noch Geld machen.
If you've got the computer that can run it, I say it's worth it! fills that train itch in my brain, Though the DLC's and the other games in the series are quite expensive and can add up pretty fast... just keep that in mind :3
this game is just very expensive and the developers aren't that great. it's like DCS but the base game is $20 with no content but the training center. it's fun but not worth it. oh and it's almost the same as Train Sim World 4 and 5.
