[h1]Rating[/h1] 3/10 [h1]Intro[/h1] Playing this game only reminds me of why I didn't click with most 2010s Rogue-like shooters. Relying more on unfair level design for challenge and luck. I don't think it's a stretch to say it was until Post Void and others similar to it, that the niche finally figured out how to make permadeath feel fair. [h1]Positives[/h1] + Weapons have good impact. + Good aesthetics and graphics. [h1]Negatives[/h1] - No perk or weapon pickups to spice things up. - No permanent upgrades for your character. Which would've been fine, if you didn't feel weak to begin with, but you do. - Health doesn't recover between levels. Which is annoying, when bosses and levels in general have a lot of things that can attack you.

Super fun fast paced Rogue like shooter that has zero save points so if you die it sucks to be you, get good ! Non stop bam bam bam with a groovy soundtrack - an older game but I can't stop playing it

This is another fine example of the overall score not matching the quality of the game. It's an average shooter that has several poor decisions baked into the game. The worst offender is having two bad weapons to start out with and most guns are near impossible to unlock. Weapons allegedly level up, but I can't tell if their stats actually improve. Increased damage should mean fewer shots per target, yet it still took 3-5 shots with the Pea Shooter to destroy a saw blade robot, no matter what Stage I was on and regardless of weapon level. The Perk system is also bad, with triple jump being the only good Perk. I chose No Fall Damage and never needed it. There were times where it sped up traveling through areas, but I missed out on "secrets" because I couldn't reach them. The "Secrets" often contain permanent stat increases...meaning they are mandatory secrets. BAD DESIGN. 4.5/10 It's playable, but you could play better shooters.

Tower of Guns é um jogo que joguei no começo da vida do ps4, é um jogo marcante para mim desde criança pela dificuldade e sua diversão. É um roguelike com uma premissa legal e uma ideia genuinamente boa, porém, os inimigos são bem repetitivos e possuem poucos inimigos que atacam de uma forma realmente diferente, muitos apenas ficam na base de ser apenas bala e espinhos. O jogo possui uma ambientação legal, gosto do traço, música maneira, só não gosto do som, que é extremamente estourado pelo alto barulho de balas explodindo e sendo atiradas, é uma coisa que te irrita facilmente. Acho interessante que possuem diferentes diálogos para personagens diferentes, mas acho desinteressante a maioria dos textos, pelo menos gosto da participação do criador com diálogos sobre a criação de fases, jogatina e afins. Muito dos perks são bons, ou extremamente ruins, que você possivelmente não usará de forma alguma, as passivas são boas, mas não possuem aquele catálogo enormeee, isso não seria um problema se o jogo fosse em um preço não salgado, considerando a quantidade de perks, passivas, armas e modos de se jogar, pelo menos as armas são boas, gosto da variedade e estilos de jogatina. Uma coisa que faz quebrar totalmente a dificuldade é a escolha de apenas ignorar os inimigos e apenas pular para a próxima sala, sem ter quase nenhuma dificuldade, sinto que pelo menos poderia ter alguma coisa que te bloqueasse de passar de salas livremente sem ter matado ao menos 1 inimigo. O jogo é bom, não minto, mas possui defeitos que não posso desver. última coisa, acho fofo a referência que o criador botou de sua esposa, bonitinho!
