Chase after Moby Dick, and live through the Golden Age of American whaling in this seafaring strategy game. Set sail around the world, manage your ship and crew, and live Ishmael's story, the sole survivor of the Pequod, a few years after the events narrated by Herman Melville in his masterpiece.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Theres a lot to like about this game, story, visual style, exploration and character progression. However, all of that gets thrown in the trash by the poorly-designed, b&llsh*t RNG combat. EVERYTHING about the combat is designed as a big FU to players. *3 newborn enemies will wreck your sh$# *Your crew will miss 3 throws in a row while enemies never miss *Every enemy attacks each turn while only 1 of your crew can attack in a turn (I only had 1 dingy so maybe that changes when you have larger ship, but I never got there) *Every enemy attack causes bleeding, which becomes insurmountable very quickly The final kicker for me was a completely unsurvivable storyline mission where my captain got locked into a combat slot with infinite sharks and had to survive 8 turns of attacks and bleeding damage and the game didn't let you retreat. Honestly wish I could reach through the screen and punch the developers.
1. Finish Tutorial 2. Set out in a new game with my fresh crew 3. Reach the first mission area 4. Storm does 20 damage to my Captain 5. Game over

The final boss battle against Mobydick ruined the experience for me. making an boss invincible is fine but allowing him to become invincible again makes it feel cheap and completely based on rng.
The history of whaling and its role in the economy of 19th Century Atlantic countries is interesting, and this game does a very good job immersing the player in that world in many ways. You'll captain a whaling ship, sailing in search of profit and adventure; make crew decisions, take special missions, occasionally stumble on some prey, then return to port and do some upgrading. The real problem I've had with this game is that I cannot seem to get very good at playing it. There's a lot of grind to the whole thing, and even when I get lucky with some RNG, I still ultimately fail every campaign I start before I can really get too far into the story. The battle mechanic is based on dice rolls, and at lower levels of crew, these battles are usually very dangerous to undertake. The punishment for errors is grave (watery grave, if you will), and I had a tendency to rage quit after losing a critically competent crewmember to a chance encounter with some sharks or some thing. Art is actually very nice, hand-drawn aesthetic with a kind of classic card-game simulation feel to the game. I don't regret playing this game at all, and the things that I really enjoyed about it (the art, the atmosphere, the historical elements) are well done -- but I can't objectively recommend the game unless you are specifically interested in 19th Century maritime.
This game is putrid. Great concept, horribly implemented. Program throws different "crises" at you and it seems to be totally random and without regard to your preparedness. For instance, I leave port with 86 days worth of water. 3 days in I get a decision card stating I'm running out of water...? Some of these random events are totally unrelated to what's going on on the ship. Just random tragedies which you CANNOT avoid. This game is a HOT MESS. I've played too long to get a refund but I assure you, I'll uninstall and never play again. It will be in "hidden games." SAVE YOUR MONEY.
Nantucket dokładnie odtwarza system i styl gry Piratów Meiera, zmieniając jedynie epokę i system walki.
Unique and challenging.
A wonderful experience! The Italian made Nantucket is a naval strategy game inspired by Melville’s novel Moby ♥♥♥♥. The protagonist Ishmael remains as such, but the player can recruit all sorts of sailors across the world, managing his crew, his cargo, his journeys, and of course his encounters, that in this game are played with dice. The gameplay formula works sublimely; it is nice to have a pirate-like game where the scope is not to board ships but rather to trade and hunt wild beasts. Playing Nantucket was very satisfying and rewarding, both the story mode and the free roaming!
Finally beat the game and I gotta say it's great. Nice tense combat and strategy paired with a brilliant sound track.
