Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Touhou Eternal Spell Cards, developed and published by 东方玄域, is a fan-driven bullet hell shooter that draws heavily from the traditions of the Touhou Project, embracing the genre’s signature intensity while delivering a focused, no-frills experience. It places players in control of Reimu Hakurei as she confronts a new disturbance threatening the fragile balance between humans and supernatural beings. While the premise is familiar, it serves as a functional backdrop for what the game is truly about: precision gameplay, pattern recognition, and the thrill of navigating overwhelming odds. The gameplay follows a classic top-down shoot-’em-up structure, where players move through stages filled with increasingly complex projectile patterns. Each level builds toward a boss encounter, and these battles form the core of the experience. Bosses unleash elaborate spell card attacks, filling the screen with intricate bullet formations that demand careful positioning and quick reflexes. The design of these patterns is where the game shines, offering visually striking sequences that feel both chaotic and methodically structured. Success depends less on raw reaction speed and more on learning patterns, staying calm under pressure, and gradually refining movement through repeated attempts. Difficulty plays a central role in shaping the experience. The game offers multiple settings, but even at moderate levels, it expects players to engage with its mechanics seriously. As the intensity ramps up, the screen becomes saturated with projectiles, turning each encounter into a test of focus and endurance. For experienced players, this creates a satisfying loop of trial, error, and eventual mastery. For newcomers, however, the steep learning curve can feel unforgiving, requiring patience and persistence to fully appreciate what the game offers. Visually, Touhou Eternal Spell Cards captures the essence of its inspiration through vibrant effects and dense, layered bullet patterns that often resemble moving works of art. While the overall presentation does not reach the polish of larger productions, it remains effective in conveying the spectacle that defines the genre. Environments provide enough variation to keep progression visually interesting, and boss encounters in particular stand out for their intensity and creativity, even if some elements feel modest in scope. The narrative elements are present but understated, serving primarily as context rather than a driving force. Dialogue sequences introduce characters and provide a basic framework for the events unfolding, but the story remains relatively simple and does not attempt to explore deeper themes. This minimal approach keeps the pacing focused on gameplay, though it also means that players looking for a richer narrative experience may find it lacking. One of the game’s more noticeable limitations is its reliance on established conventions. While it executes the bullet hell formula competently, it rarely steps outside of what fans of the genre already expect. There are few new mechanics or experimental ideas introduced, which can make the experience feel overly familiar for those who have spent significant time with similar titles. Additionally, certain aspects of the game reflect its indie origins, with occasional inconsistencies in presentation and refinement. Progression is largely tied to repetition and improvement, which is both a defining strength and a potential drawback. Players are encouraged to replay stages, learn enemy patterns, and optimize their performance, creating a rewarding sense of growth for those who enjoy skill-based challenges. However, for players who prefer more varied gameplay systems or broader progression mechanics, this focus can feel restrictive over time. In the end, Touhou Eternal Spell Cards is a solid and faithful interpretation of the bullet hell formula, offering a challenging and visually engaging experience for fans of the genre. It doesn’t attempt to redefine its foundations, instead choosing to refine and replicate what already works. While it may not stand out in terms of innovation or polish, it provides enough intensity and satisfaction to appeal to players who enjoy mastering demanding gameplay systems. Rating: 7/10
