There’s not much that can be said about this simple game because it doesn’t have anything you haven’t seen before. You have a quick main attack and a special attack that covers the screen in bullets and requires mana. Dash is your only ability that lets you pass through bullets. The goal is to kill enemies until you fill up the bar. This awards you with a portal to the next stage as well as a chest that allows you to pick one of three random improvements. Some of these include greater attacks, more mana, and faster mana regeneration. But because your bullets go through anything, the best upgrade is the one that boosts projectile count. After a handful of upgrades, enemies don’t stand a chance because you’ll be firing so many bullets that they blanket the entire screen. Another incentive to stack bullets is that aiming is practically impossible. The visuals are so bright and colorful that your mouse cursor disappears, making the only viable strategy holding the button down and spraying bullets in every direction. All enemies drop are mana and health potions, and there is no experience or currency to help you upgrade between runs. After a few normal stages, you get into a boss fight. It shows some light bullet-hell elements, but it doesn’t go too crazy. However, it’s still possible to fail, especially because there are no health pickups. When you die, the game restarts from stage 1. Although the graphics is decent and vibrant, the animation is really simple. The entire thing appears to be two-dimensional graphics superimposed on a static background. It seems strange that you can go over rocks and other things without difficulty.
