Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

game took so long in the tutorial that i could not get a refund i don't really like these games but i was willing to try now i want my 10$ back for lords of the fallen im hoping total war 40k is better than this slop
Once you buy the game, you can play as the same 5 people over and over again. In order to get all the characters, AFTER the purchase of the game, you will need about $500 or so. This is lame. I've tried to milk as much fun out of it as I could, but I don't think I can enjoy being bored.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 67.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Paywalled a bunch of content that is unlocked by buying previous (old) titles of the game at twice the price of the latest title during sales or at the same price (60€) under "normal" circumstance. This is just wrong on so many levels and lets not even go into the releasing a game with base content locked behind various paywalls. If I had known this earlier I'd refund this ♥♥♥♥. Instead I'll leave a heads up here so that others can decide, hopefully with this in mind before deciding :)
as little hours as i have in this game, i don't recommend it if it's not at a huge discount. the game itself is great, i love the world and the overall gameplay but what you get from the game you buy is only a fraction of what it really is and in order to enjoy the full game, you have to buy a ton of random DLCs that aren't exactly cheap for what they add. Its not like the game itself is cheap either the pricing sucks for 8 to 9 out of the 24 factions which aren't even complete, some or even half of all the characters in a faction that i got for free are are locked behind other DLC. The studio treats you like a sack of ♥♥♥♥ for only owning the game and not owning the million ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC they added to milk your wallet and that's not even mentioning the lag you get when starting or loading a campaign. My setup is about double the requirements and I can't start a campaign normally, without the game crashing even at the bare minimum graphics, i don't have any issues with loading other games but i do with this one. i do really enjoy this game and would recommend it at a low price or if you have a lot of money but in a normal case, i would NOT advise you to buy it
The game is unplayable because of game breaking bugs. I can not finish the prologue where i have to position my troups but the game gives no option to begin the battle. This bug has been known for years but the developers don't care about fixing it. I read that there are other such bugs in the game. This is unacceptable.
After buying this game for full price they giving you like 8 fractions to play and all other fractions, even basic ones like imperium, you have to buy additionally. Supergreedy, there should be at least basic fractions without additional purchaces! Also it's impossible to play online: game crashes each like 20-40 minutes in any multiplayer game. Seems devs is too busy creating new DLCs, but doesn't care about their backend.
This had potential to be a great game but the vision has been tainted by bugs. The company lacks integrity, the poor state of the game has gone on for too many years to be excusable at this point. Just another bait-and-scam style DLC machine that feeds off our hopes.
