Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Doesnt work in offline mode even though it is primarily a single player game. No good reason for that. Game is 4 years old. Let me play the game I paid for.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #28, worst KR #100 · 12 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 67.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane how 90 percent of the game is locked behind ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paywalls ive spent almost 50 bucks with everything on sale and am still missing 50 percent of the in game content and ive already owned the game itself having to buy the the first 2 games and every dlc just to be able to use most the factions is wild then when you do spend money to unlock a faction 80 percent of the factions roster are locked behind more pay walls stupid greedy selfish bastards for real guarantee when 40k drop every chapter of space marines is gonna be 50 bucks plus the way CA handles their addons
This is one of the most dishonest and money hungry studios I’ve ever seen. They’ve had a half broken game for years, yet all they do is release DLCs to milk the players dry without actually fixing the game, there are bugs that have been known for YEARS and are clearly being ignored by Creative Assembly, this isn't an indie studio but a well resourced AAA developer. At the same time, they’re silencing criticism on social media while peddling empty hype to get people excited and sell them the next DLC. It’s a game with 200€ worth of DLC in which you can’t even play a standard siege battle without something breaking, a game in which the AI is loaded with buffs the player doesn't get simply because the AI is so braindead it would otherwise collapse on its own without the buffs. The game is frustrating, flat and full of bugs, with anti player design choices that artificially inflate the difficulty to the point where no one would play a campaign beyond 40 turns without mods without getting frustrated or bored and quit. On top of that, development is winding down and it’s highly unlikely all the issues will be fixed, as they’ve already moved on to their next project and left a secondary team in charge. All they’re doing is selling the hope of fixes while milking the game for every last drop of profit. I cannot recommend this.
Decent enough game but with a crooked paid content policy. Being locked out of >50% of the content on boot up does not motivate me to open my wallet again, quite the opposite in fact. Every paypig that buys in is worth 10 negative reviews, so this practice will never change. I get big games need big money for big development, but I know damn well it's not the actual developers that are getting rich from this.
the best total war. it has its problems but the scope of the map and the diversity of factions is really unmatched.
Point fort :
My surprise was immense when I traveled with my daughters: after a long day of playing and exploring, I sat down to play some Total War, only to get hit with 'you need to be online to play'. What a great feature for a game I paid for and use for a total of zero online interactions. Gaming is in such a great place.
For the Emperor!
Half of the content requires you to either own the previous two games, or the DLC's to be able to use it. You're essentially paying for half a game. I got this on the sale at £7.49 (85% discount) and still don't think it's worth it. This is just pure greed. ♥♥♥♥ you Creative Assembly.
