Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 67.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Probably the worst series of the total war games. The battles are cartoonish and short. Moral system is the worst of the series. So many units just break within 20 seconds of combat. Ai is the worst of the series. Constantly chasing armies across the map like in Rome 2, only to be attacked by another faction that the AI factions all secretly agree to mess with just you, and only you. A lot of factions are soft locked at certain points. Lizardman factions usually are placed in awful positions in the middle of a sea of enemies. And no matter what you do, your allies are always pathetic and weak, and the enemy allies work in perfect unison. and will Most likely beat your allies 9/10 times forcing you to deal with every single problem. Had the Dwarves of Sotek literally declare war on a Khorne faction above me.. they march 2 armies over into my territory they move AROUND the Khorne army, sit at my capital.. wait there 2 turns, watch the Half beaten Khorne army escape to rebuild into a full 20 stack army, while they leave suddenly, and take one of my towns that Khorne burned down and just went home.. without a fight. Meanwhile, the enemy can see you regardless of the fog of war so they always know where your armies are and can plan accordingly. Literally has entirely too much random nonsense in the game, like literally there is a dumb stupid event happening every 5 turns. Omg another endless chaos invasion, look, another Beastmen horde just popping up in the middle of your empire near your capital where no ones at, or look an Orge Encampment just popped into my core territory. Try playing the Tree Ent people. Constantly running all over the place from constant invasions and warbands popping up randomly all over the forest i control in special events. This game just oozes modern Total war. Bright, flashy, shallow, and ment for people that just Auto resolve most battles because your never sure how well your units will do since theres no real standard, everyones basic are core units varied too much on abilities and what they can handle.. Sometimes you think they can hold, only to break in half a second.. of fighting. Ai teams do not have to follow any of the rules you have. The classic total war problem. They have never made Ai in their games that don't just blatantly cheat with how they build, fund and move their armies. I have noticed a trend in RTS games and must have been Warcrafts fault and Starcraft but the rise of having units with special abilities and heros you have to micro manage and pull you out of the Commander experience and feel more like a Moba game, where your constantly just using your over powered lord and heros to do a bunch of magic spells or or Like 3 Kingdoms, and place like a Moba Dynasty warriors and have these unkillable over powred lords and agents. Because the normal combat is just awful. Who would have thought that Empire total War, Medeval 2, (Rome original) and Shogun 2 were Peak Total war. Everything thing after them has been getting progressively worse in every aspect, and this is the biggest example, next to Troy. (I mean the Russian people and the chinese cathy people look like World of Warcraft models and style anyways, so it makes sense all they did was copy Warcraft/Starcrafts style, like they are cartoonish in their armor appearance. Like big and bubbly like their fantasy cartoon armor.
Content... amazing. Price point... bad behaviour. Having to pay for blood effects... smh.
Buying the base game... gives you a lot less then it should (only a few factions). Most of the other factions are to be purchased separately as DLC. The Prologue was fine... the game itself is rather stale.
