Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Reviews
I have been waiting a decade for this and I am not disappointed. I encountered a couple of bugs since I started playing shortly after launch, but the dev fixed them shortly after launch.
No to czas na recenzję Tormentum II. Na ten moment przeszedłem grę tylko raz. Zajęło mi to około 14 godzin i odkryłem jedno zakończenie. -------------------------------------------------------------- ANG: So, it's finally time to review **Tormentum II**. At the moment, I've completed the game only once. It took me around 14 hours, and I discovered just one ending. Even now, I know this won't be my last playthrough. The game has great replay value, and I definitely plan to earn all the achievements and experience every possible path. ### First Impressions If the first game was amazing, then in my opinion, the sequel surpasses it in many ways. The world is darker, more intriguing, far more detailed, and simply beautiful. I often found myself stopping just to admire the environments and all the little details. Every location feels like it tells its own story and adds to the incredible atmosphere. ### Music & Atmosphere The soundtrack completely blew me away. It fits every moment perfectly, building tension and enhancing the emotions throughout the journey. It's been a long time since a game's music immersed me this much. ### Story (Spoiler-Free) The story leaves you with plenty of questions and offers a lot of room for interpretation. It's not the kind of game you forget after the credits roll. Even after finishing it, I'm still thinking about the events, trying to connect the pieces and understand the deeper meaning behind many scenes. I love games that stay with you long after you've finished them. ### Moral Choices One of the game's strongest aspects is its moral choices. There were several moments where I spent minutes thinking about which decision to make. There are no simple "good" or "evil" options here. Every choice carries weight and genuinely makes you think. ### Puzzles Are they easy? Not really. They're different from those in the first game, more creative and much more interesting. The world is larger and more complex, and the puzzles make excellent use of that. Solving them was consistently satisfying. ### Is It Worth Playing? Absolutely. For me, this is one of the best games I've played this year. I'd even say it's underpriced considering the quality it delivers. That said, I highly recommend playing the first game before jumping into the sequel. It makes the world and its story even more meaningful. I'll definitely be coming back for multiple playthroughs. **Score: 10/10** **Pros:** * Outstanding atmosphere * Beautiful, dark, and immersive world * Incredible soundtrack * Story with deep interpretation * Meaningful moral choices * Excellent replay value * Clever and rewarding puzzles For me, this is a strong Game of the Year contender. It's been a long time since a game pulled me in this much and kept me thinking long after the credits rolled.

Amazing art and music paired together with a choose your own adventure story.
Really enjoying it so far! I haven't played a point-and-click adventure like this in a long time, and I'm still very much at the beginning of the game. So far, though, I'm really enjoying the experience. One of the first things that caught my attention is the art direction. The visuals are dark, disturbing, and beautifully atmospheric. I'm not particularly a fan of Zdzisław Beksiński's work, but I can definitely appreciate the inspiration here, and this darker, more unsettling aesthetic really fits my personal taste. The atmosphere is probably my favorite part so far. There's something very immersive about exploring this strange and gloomy world and discovering what it has to offer. I also think this kind of game will be a nice change of pace and a relaxing experience after spending time with more intense multiplayer games. I'm only at the beginning, so I can't say much about the story or puzzles yet, but so far, Tormentum II has definitely caught my attention. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!
This game is a work of Art. Nothing more - nothing less.
This is just as good as the first one, maybe better. I think it's longer which is good. There's a lot more art to sink into. The world feels oddly full of life despite its grim surface. You can play this one first or the first game first, doesn't matter, but don't pass these over if you like unique game worlds brought to life by great art.
