Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Merits: ▪ Detailed graphics ▪ All the levels, skaters & songs as you remember them ▪ Create a Park is also here and improved ▪ Unlocks, customisation, challenges ▪ Multiplayer mode Flaws: ▪ The character creator is hit and miss ▪ Wish we had more options for customisation ▪ Always online DRM by default (launch with cmd /c "set steamdeck=1 && %command%" to bypass) Verdict: It looks, sounds and feels just like you remember it in your mind. It is a great remake, especially when it comes to the graphical details. All the tricks still work, too so I did not find it too difficult to finish. However, it mixes in new songs and new skaters which change the vibe slightly, I also am not a fan of the always online requirements, but there is a workaround for it now, thankfully. If you played these games back in the day on the PS1, I can strongly recommend them. Otherwise, wait for a sale. Rating: ★★★★☆ - Great

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

It's arguably the best Tony Hawk game.
One of the ugliest character creation engines I've ever seen. How is it possible that the original games did character customization better, when this game has like 20 years more advanced tech at the devs' fingertips????

The problem with games like this, at least for those who played them extensively as a kid, is you tend to ignore the shortcomings for the nostalgia. And back when it came out...games were just worse. They sure spruced up the graphics but the core game is not good. Poor controls, bad game design, and terrible level design. I hate this game passionately, and I regret not listening to my current self and letting the dumbass 13 year old version of me have a say in buying this.
Flooded with busy work and a cleaner aesthetic, THPS 1+2 feels like its soul has been ripped out.
If I was to play the original Tony Hawks Pro Skater games on Playstation, I’d probably be shocked by the slow game speed, warping textures and Turok-level draw distance. I’m fully aware of my rose-tinted glasses, and to that extent, THPS 1+2 is extremely successful. The game is up to speed with the pacing of later entries, the textures are razor sharp, and there’s no fog obscuring your view seven metres in front of you. But it’s not the technical limitations, or even the gameplay, which made Tony Hawks Pro Skater special. To me, it was the personality. I loved the grimy, desaturated visuals. I loved the rough and ready main menu which takes place in an old skate shop, which felt so authentic I could smell the old carpet and tires. I miss the classic bail animations, like your character crushing their balls between a rail, and low res blood splattering onto the ground. While some aspects are thankfully retained, like the majority of the soundtrack, too much of the original aesthetic has been shaved off for me. The visuals are bright, saturated and far too clean now. The main menu looks like Call of Duty Warzone and features the longest EULA agreement you’ll ever read and agree to. When your character bails there’s no blood, and instead a completely out of place computer glitch animation to revert them to their previous state. The entire package just feels so corporate, and has as much punk ethos as a mural commissioned by Brewdog. These games are undeniably short. The originals could be completed in an hour if you know what you’re doing, and even if you don’t, you’ll probably be done within three. I was excited to see bonus challenges in this remake, but the problem is it all feels like busy work. Nothing feels particularly innovative or challenging, or makes you look at the maps differently. It’s all just doing a specific trick in a certain spot, or interacting with X amount of scenery in a run. This might feel unfair since these objectives were a cornerstone of the original, but couldn’t they have tried something fresh? Especially since these are additions, and so more risks can be taken. I’d love alternative, difficult variations of the maps like Celeste or Doom Eternal B-Sides to really challenge long-term fans of the series instead of just using up their time. Playing through THPS 1+2 felt like ticking off a shopping list of things I’m meant to do. There wasn’t the edgy, grungy skate culture that I loved from the original and this instead this feels focus grouped to death with all soul removed. It’s not a bad game; in fact it plays really well. It’s just completely forgettable now.
Two of the three best Tony Hawk titles (along with THPS3) So privileged to own and play this game in the glorious year of 2026 10/10 would ollie again
Pre mňa jedna z najlepších nostalgických prerábok. ❤️ PS1 detstvo → PC dospelosť. Čas letí, ale Tony Hawk zostáva.
This game is an AMAZING return to form after many years of both being mistreated and being on ice. Coming from someone who finished this game with every skater, gotten all the achievements, and considers themselves a massive fan of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise this is a must buy. It's essentially THPS 1 + 2's careers with better visuals and THPS 4 mechanics and it ABSOLUTELY SLAPS. Much of the original sound track returns with some fun new songs as well. If you are a fan or just getting into the franchise this game is a MUST HAVE. Even if the game is a cakewalk for you there are some TOUGH challenges for players looking to test themselves. Not all of them need to be completed for achievements but they offer a much needed test of skill for veteran players.
I bought this game so I could play HORSE in THPS2 with my friends. HORSE is not available in the 'online multiplayer' mode. HORSE is *only* available in 'local multiplayer' mode. Steam remote play is actively disabled in this game, so it is a struggle to play 'local multiplayer' online with your friends. If you are nostalgic for THPS1 or 2 and you want to play HORSE with your online friends, this definitely isn't it!
