Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game holds up surprisingly well as a whole. I have 2 main complaints 1. the game doesn't always communicate things well. Where to go, how things interact, what you need to do. This can result in backtracking to do something that realistically you couldn't have known you should be doing, or going to an area that you can't do anything in yet. There are times when the environment is not entirely clear what you can and can't grab. There is an in-game hint system that is... fine, I wish there was even more granularity to it. Sometimes it'll tell you what to do, but you're stuck on the "how" but it doesn't tell you that. 2. the combat is mediocre. You lock onto enemies and just spam the shoot button, most enemies in this game are animals that are either one-shot or massive bullet sponges. This isn't particularly engaging, at least for me. The Survivor Trilogy and the Uncharted games both made their combat in the style of stealth and cover shooters, which was a significant improvement imo. If you look at the timelines for Gears of War (cover shooter) and Uncharted (cover shooter + stealth) and such I don't think it's reasonable to expect this game to have adapted in such a way, but it is something that I felt playing this game. Despite those 2 (large) things that I have problems with, the game is quite fun overall, I'm a sucker for action/adventure games. Uncharted and TR are both weak spots for me. Some of the puzzles are good, some of them are just go fetch this thing and press Y. Overall, a fun, wacky adventure that holds up surprisingly well despite approaching being 2 decades old. Physics were broken until I turned on vsync, after that, it was fine. Needs more yellow paint

Really enjoyed Underworld. Lara’s model looks the best in this trilogy imo, and the gameplay feels way smoother and easier than the earlier games. The movement and mechanics just feel really good. Definitely my favorite of the three.

The Best Tomb Raider of the 7th Gen
Tomb Raider Underworld is my favorite of the next trilogy of Lara's games. (Tomb Raider 1,2,3 & the Tomb Raider Legends, Anniversary, Underworld). Playing it makes me feel nostalgic and takes me back to a time when I was much younger and I played the game for the first time with my dad. I love that I get to enjoy this game again after almost a decade of being without it.

so the first time i installed it the game ran perfectly fine. After a while i deleted it but recently wanted to play it again and for some reason the game wont even open? like its just a plain black screen and the only way to get out of it is to reset my PC. I found a way around the issue but its a lengthy annoying process to do every time just to play one of my favorite tomb raider games sadly :(
