Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time

I got the game a few days ago on discount and decided to give it a try after a recommendation from a Youtube comment section. English is not my first language so please bear with me. The game overall is great and I wish I could play more in its entireity. I enjoyed doing the Tour mode and hearing the facts about the Titanic was educative for someone whose knowledge of the tragedy began with the 1997 movie (never watched the full movie, just some clips on social media). However, everything went downhill when I began Mission Mode. The game was extremely buggy. Dialogue skipped itself, the volume would suddenly increase out of nowhere, and it would suddenly freeze, forcing me to restart. The final nail on the coffin for me was the Save button not working. The first time I pressed it, the game crashed. When I reopened it, I was back to the beginning. Though frustrated, I held onto hope. As I was recording a video for YT, I played for about 40 more minutes before I gave the Save button a second chance. Another crash and all progress lost. If I could have the chance to play the game without the bugs, I believe I will enjoy it. However, as it stands, I cannot in good conscience give a good rating and likely mislead someone else. I remember playing this game in the early 2000s and I looked it up for kicks. It's still a good game even though it is old. I enjoyed it. Though not historically accurate and very old-school this game is a good play if you want something in the cozy/casual type.

Tried to play twice and crashed both times.

This game hasn't really been updated for modern systems. It's prone to constant random game crashes. If you want to play it, SAVE FREQUENTLY!

I played this game when it originally came out, I believe, in '96. When I played it again, I was surprised by how much fun I had with it, given its age. The game does a good job of nudging the player in the right direction without the need to wander the ship endlessly trying to find what to do next. I also enjoyed the NPCs. They each have a unique personality. The story is a good one and the cut scenes do the game justice, even after all this time. I recommend this game. I'm just not sure how much it would appeal to someone who's not looking for the nostalgia of having already played it back in the day. There was initially a sound problem which made the game pretty much unplayable but a community supplied start option tweak got me past that.

great game, originally played this as a kid when it came out in 1996. Amazing game, didn't experience any bugs either.

11/10, best titanic simulator out.
