Reviews
This game's art-style and unit-management, Pikmin-style mechanics are inspired. It's quirky and a bit slow, but it is an extremely well-made game that is easy to recommend to any interested.
WOW, couldn't not get all the achievements!
It's a great collectaton game with satisfying controls. Don't expect anything more out of it, but also there is not need to - if you buy it for the right reasons it will fulfill them.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bastante entretenido e inmersivo. Tiene un diseño visual muy bonito. Recomendado.
Jo: Um ótimo descanso dos jogos de peipei, é um jogo bem simples com uma gameplay relaxante e satisfatória. O estilo de arte me lembra muito o cavaleiro valente, que é um baita elogio. Me surpreendi com a revolta trabalhista. Viva o trabalhador porra.
Very cozy puzzle platformer. My 6 year old loves watching it.
I enjoined this very much. As much as it seems its a clone of pikmin, this game holds its own.
Tinykin

Put Pint-Sized Pals to Work, Pondering Puzzles and Prevailing Over Platforming Problems

-Overview:
Tinykin is a puzzle platformer where you take control of Milo, a human from the planet Aegis. Milo hypothesizes that humans hailed from another planet, and heads out in search of a mysterious signal he discovered. Upon arriving at the signal, he finds himself in an abandoned, oversized house, with sentient bugs creating cities and towns in many of the rooms. Alongside these bugs live Tinykin, small creatures with unique abilities. Milo must make use of the Tinykin to solve puzzles and overcome platforming challenges, all to gather up pieces of a machine that will allow him to make his way back to his ship, and by extension, his home.
-The Good:

-The Sound Design:
Not once in my life have I played a collectathon platformer where the most insignificant items felt amazing to collect; not until Tinykin, that is. The sound design in this game is top notch, keeping me enthralled throughout my entire playthrough. Picking up pollen, a very common item that is strewn around every map (think coins in Mario) was an incredibly satisfying experience, to the point I turned up the sound effect volume just to bask in the noises. Little jingles supplement quest completion, music fades in and out when entering enclosed spaces, and each locale has a unique soundtrack that sets them apart from one another. I adore the sound design in this game, and could go on for hours about how much I love it. SFX team, wonderful work!
-The Visuals:
Everything in this game is downright gorgeous, from the environments, the characters, and even the collectables. The game has a wonderfully subdued, somewhat desaturated palette that invites a very cozy feeling. Each room also has it's own color palette, and as a result, no two locations felt the same. So much detail was put into every nook and cranny, you'd be hard pressed to find a place with nothing going on. I must commend the cutscenes as well; they are so bouncy and full of life! Whenever you find a new Tinykin, a small cutscene plays showing off their special ability. These were so wonderful that rather than looking forward to unlocking a new tool, I was simply excited that I got to see another one of these delightful little animations!
-The Character Design:
I loved discovering each new species of bug, as they are all different and unique. Each species has a defining character trait, and their own interesting cities and towns. Exploring deeper into the house was incredibly rewarding, as I'd discover more about how each species lived. They all have their own beliefs, from how they view the god of the world, to their opinions on other species. At no point did they blend together, and they made the world feel alive.
-The Writing
There was not a single bug I didn't talk to. Every time I saw someone new, I'd book it straight to them to see what silly conversations they were having, or find fun references in their dialogue. This writing extends to each species as a whole, as they way they are written helps them stand out from one another. On a different note, the story's writing is equally wonderful. You are fed small tidbits of lore and story throughout the game, and for the eagle eyed, there is a veritable bounty of environmental storytelling around. I would say 1/3 of the game's story is presented via dialogue, with the rest being strewn about the house for you to find. Each room is a treasure trove of lore, and I loved piecing everything together as I explored more and more.
-The Level Design:
I truly have to commend the game designers who worked on this, every level was a blast to play through. Focusing more on verticality, Tinykin feels like a breath of fresh air compared to other platformers. you'll be climbing shoelaces, constructing bridges, and grinding across silk lines with your trusty soapboard to reach new heights, all within a single room. The vertical exploration was so fun that I'd fully explore the top of a room before even thinking about the ground! The verticality isn't the only outstanding aspect however, as the platforming and puzzles were exquisite. I loved entering a new room with nothing, only to scavenge up whatever Tinykin I could see and blaze my own path, opening up shortcuts and new routes! I never felt bored exploring, there is a ton of content packed into every level. The only times I'd start to get annoyed was when I was scavenging for a few remaining collectables tucked away in corners or behind things. While not very difficult at all, I was engaged across my whole playthrough.
-The Bad:

-The Movement Challenges
I really, really wanted to like the movement challenges, but too many issues hold them back for me. For some unknowable reason, the game automatically moves your camera during said challenges. This was incredibly infuriating, and I felt like I was wrestling for control of my camera 24/7. There are options in the menu to turn off automatic camera movement, but they do not apply to the challenges. This would be such an easy fix, though it is not my only issue. The difficulty is quite rough, especially for the platinum medals. Requiring nigh perfect movement, I had to exploit every unintended mechanic I could for fractions of a second on my time. None of this is helped by the wonky physics, which combine with the automatic camera movement to make precise movements feel impossible.
-The Edge Grinding
Using the soapboard to grind across the edges of objects feels so weird. It is incredibly inconsistent, at points feeling like pure luck if my board would catch the edge or not. The edges themselves are very awkwardly placed, sometimes being on the actual edge of the object, and other times not aligning with the edge at all. Even after finishing my playthrough, I still do not understand how grinding around curves works. It feels like random chance whether you stick to the edge or go flying off. With how necessary edge grinding is for the movement challenges, this finicky, unreliable system caused me a lot of frustration.
-Finishing Up Collectables
This is the smallest gripe I have with this game. When trying to 100% an area, I often found myself missing a very small amount of pollen, with no in-game way of tracking it down. If you could obtain some sort of pollen filter for your search glasses, it would instantly resolve this issue. Regardless, it's barely a problem, just a minor annoyance which doesn't really hurt my enjoyment of the game.
-The... Confused?
-None, Good Job!
-Closing Remarks
Tinykin is an amazing collectathon that held my attention to the very end. The team working on this game is very talented, and should feel proud of their work! Almost everything about this game is downright stellar, and you should pick it up even when it's not on sale! It's truly worth every penny I spent, though for the frugal player, it does go on sale often. Every issue I had stemmed from my need to 100% the game, so I doubt it will impact your enjoyment. My highest praise I can give is that by the end of the game, all I could think was "I want more." I'm not sure if it will ever happen, but if a sequel is ever announced, I'd pick it up release day. I will remember this game fondly for a long time, great job devs!
