Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A troubled loner with a hunger for cinematic gore finds himself on the other side of the camera when rumors of authentic snuff videotapes lead him to an abandoned cabin near Butcher's Creek, Pennsylvania. What starts as illicit urban exploration becomes a fight for survival when he's captured by a gang of sadistic killers. Now his only option is to pick up a box cutter, a hammer, a pickaxe, or whatever else is at hand, and unleash a little video violence of his own.
Use hammers, axes, pipes, 2x4s, box cutters, and more to brutalize anything that stands between you and freedom
When all else fails, the level itself can be a weapon. Kick props into enemies, or enemies into environment hazards.
Photograph gruesome murder scenes to fulfill your dark desires and regain lost health
Explore decaying farmhouses, collapsing factories, and seedy strip clubs in a forgotten corner of the Appalachian Forest

Great game wif great combat and atmosphere. I was looing for a game with condemned criminal origins type combat and this game really scratched that itch. Really recommend this game for those with the gritty melee combat itch such as myself. Im kinda sad this game was short and i believe it couldve been something more but i hope someone would be inspired by this game and make it a more full fledge game
The atmosphere is great, there is basically no plot to speak of (whatever the notes we find scattered around tell us), but there is no such thing as "gameplay." Whatever sticks, pipes, pickaxes, or shovels we find lying around, we just smash over heads until they break. For 3 hours, we just do the exact same things over and over. If you've played Dusk, there is no need for you to play this. And if you haven't played Dusk, you should just play that instead.
short game but pretty interesting. to find story you have to read notes or you will not know what the F you are doing plot wise, so READ MF READ
Backlogging this for 1.5 years was my biggest mistake in 1.5 years
Condemned: Criminal Origins is one of my favorite games of all time and this might be the closest thing we ever get to a part 3. If you go into this with the right expectations, you will have a great time. Obviously, this game is not quite as good as Condemned, but it’s definitely scratches the itch..which is pretty impressive when you know this game was made by a solo developer. My nitpicks with this game are: 1. The AI is slightly lacking 2. There could have been just a little more variation in gameplay/enemy variety That being said, any minor issues this game has is easily made up for in a bunch of other ways. Like Condemned, the gameplay is kind of a one trick pony, but oh what a trick it is. It’s repetitive, but fun and engaging all the way through to the end. The sound design, music and atmosphere are the stars of the show here. The sound of something following you in the dark actually gave me chills. The music is gnarly as hell and sets the mood perfectly. The atmosphere and lower res graphics give the game a dark, gritty, hellish feel that really gives condemned a run for its money. The best thing about this game is that it doesn’t overstay it’s welcome…it knows exactly what it is and what it wants to do and it accomplishes it in a nice, concise way. Don’t expect condemned 3. Instead, expect a slightly janky indie developer’s homage to a classic from the Xbox 360 era. It’s a humble, dark, grimy, immersive 2-3 hour experience that gives you a nice little dose of an old favorite that we probably will never see a sequel to.
This game does not have combat like in the trailers. Most of combat is standing still waiting for your stamina bar to start regenerating. The enemies will stand still and stare at you too, as if they are waiting for their stamina bars to let them fight. Enemies have a lot of health, which means you will run out of stamina and have to stand still for it to regenerate before fighting again. The combat is so slow with the stamina system it feels turn based.
Fun short game with Condemned vibes. Recommend for an afternoon horror game session.
