Just reached the credits. I've been playing this game on and off for several months, and it's a really relaxing experience. You recommend real books to customers in a small town, and there's just the right balance of items, sidequests, and quirky characters to keep you from getting bored. If you like books and cozy vibes, you will probably like this game. Also you can sell to [spoiler] seagulls [/spoiler].
One of the best games I've ever played! Hope they continue to upload more achievements and such for us to do!

I was looking for a cozy game on steam -- something laidback, relaxing, and story/character-driven, while still having outlined goals for me to follow so I'm not completely aimless. This was the game for me! I came to decorate my bookshop but I ended up staying just to hear more about the townfolks. Not to mention, for the booknerds out there, I've got quite an extensive list of new book recommendations from this game!! SO cozy!
Very calming and relaxing gameplay. Get's a little repetitive after awhile, but if you enjoy recommending books to others I would highly suggest this game!

Cozy Bookish Game - Also das artwork ist zunächst mal wirklich toll und mir gefallen auch die vielen kleinen Nebengeschichten gerade mit Harper. Sehr viel Spaß machen die Buchempfehlungen und auch die Umgestaltung des Buchanhängers. Die Charaktere sind liebenswert und auch die "Weisheiten" die den Spielenden durch die Charaktere mitgeteilt werden sind nicht zu cheesy. Man konnte sich in alles toll einfühlen und die kleine Hafenstadt als Buchhändler/in erkunden. Kleine Anmerkungen: Manchmal fand ich es etwas anstrengend bei Buchempfehlungen auf die Anforderungen einzugehen, weil einfach viel zu viele Infos im Text standen (Sachliteratur, aber auch Comic und YA). *** Update: Fünf Minuten nachdem ich diese Rezension abgeschickt hat, gehe ich ins Spiel rein und Tilde sagt zu mir: "Ist dir schon aufgefallen, dass die Leute sehr verwirrende Anforderungen haben? Am besten suchst du einfach eins heraus, dass auf eine Anforderung passt" ZUFALL?? ********* Außerdem ist - glaube ich - ein Bug drin, denn wenn ein Kunde sagt "wenn das Buch romantisch ist, bringe ich es zurück" und man empfiehlt etwas unromantisches, dann antwortet dieser, dass "er doch Romantik gewollt hätte". Es waren schon viele Bücher dabei, ich glaube ich hätte persönlich noch gerne mehr variiert in meinen Buchempfehlungen, aber es ist ja nun mal nicht das reale Leben und es gibt Grenzen, von daher voll ok. Alles in allem ist das Spiel, wenn man Bücher und cozy games mag, sehr empfehlenswert. Spielzeit insgesamt ist würde ich sagen (wenn man schnell ist) so bei circa 20 Stunden und das ist absolut angemessen für den Preis. Ich hatte eine sehr gute Zeit!
