Time of Shadows

Many games have this problem that they cannot start. DoM II has quite opposite - once run it cannot exit. In short: it is broken.

This was going to a Positive review but i encountered an issue that i assume will never be resolved. i Alt F4'd out of the game and it stayed open and hidden, Task Manager was not able to find it either. took restarting my PC for me to close and uninstall the game. However. The game itself has a certain level of Charm and Soul. it looks bad and plays bad, but somehow you just wanna see more. maybe its the awfully charming voice acting that has me facepalming half the time. Something i noticed only after reading a review on here was the Body Mutations. its practically not mentioned on the store page, but you see it used in the screenshots. i didn't make it far to give this a nice test because for some reason skill points are given but you're only ever able to put in certain points at certain times? idk how it worked. i had reached lvl 3, the game gave me around 12 skill points to spend by this time but only 2 skills to spend them in and each was 1 cost. so 10 skill points left over and i was unable to spend them. I did, however, get a Demon Horn (was more like a Nail protruding out of my forehead with the head of the nail on my skin) and some Angel Wings. both of these had a bonus stat like +1 to Dash skill or something. You get Attribute points for HP, MP and weight iirc and the skillbook has a section for Basic Skills, like repair, enchanting, crafting and some other stuff. (these had their own skill point) Fighting enemies was your typical, cast a spell move and wait for a short cooldown and cast again, repeat. at first i was spooked to venture too far from the settlement because enemies were everywhere. then i just said ♥♥♥♥ it and went out far as i could, which was like 10 seconds of running before the map just stops. some enemies seem like they should be big issues but you can cheese them by shooting them almost off screen. one of my favorite moments is when i was breaking some shelves in the Avon School and all the students coming up to me stressed out or that time i caused some ♥♥♥♥ and panic started. some dude sprinting around in a panic, yelling at me when suddenly he leashes back to his spawn box or w/e and goes "So, hows business, friend?" Last thing i did before uninstalling was kill some NPC's and get chased around a town, thinking i was safe when finally i run into Robert. Merlin lookin' ♥♥♥♥ starts blasting me with auto target spells and no amount of Blink Dashing could get me away. i had the whole town on my ass and him just cleaning up.

Seems disjointed, slow. I like faster paced Games.
