It's...fine. It has heart, and it's clear that the devs care about marginalized people, which is nice. I can see the story they want to tell, and it's a good and well-intentioned one. Unfortunately the game is possessed of underwhelming execution and a mystery whose conclusion certainly feels [spoiler]possible but unsatisfying[/spoiler] to uncover. As far as gameplay goes, well, I expected attention to detail to matter, to the point that I avoided any cleaning duties in a room that had been marked "do not disturb", thinking that showing any sign of having snooped around would land Sophie (the player character) in hot water. As it turns out, there are no consequences for leaving a mess behind. Unless [spoiler]that mess is a result of the player choosing not to dispose of evidence. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big "be gay, do crime" guy. I just wholly was not expecting that to be the solution up until credit roll.[/spoiler] Still, I'm looking forward to what Lowbirth Studios is cooking up next. I think they have a lot more to offer.

It was fun! finished in about 7 hours.
This review contains NO SPOILERS I haven't really played any murder mystery type video game before, so I was going into this blind. I was able to complete the game in just under 4 hours, which I feel is a reasonable amount of time. The story was engaging, and interesting. I was never left feeling bored at any point, because there was always some riddle, or some key part of the story to keep you reeled in. The riddles were tough, but not so bad that it made me annoyed. I think anyone could appreciate this type of game. It's short, fun, great story, and the perfect amount of chellenging. If you're just starting to get into murder mystery games like me, or even a seasoned murder mystery connoisseur, this game would be perfect for you!
Quel jeu. Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe pour cette expérience, qui m'a replongé dans une ambiance de détective comme L.A Noire a pu le faire. La direction artistique donne une ambiance unique au jeu, et il en va de même pour la musique dont on ne se lasse jamais. La mise en scène est digne d'une grande série policière. Intriguing story, fun puzzels and something new to discover on each playthrough; I managed to find an entire new scene my third time playing! I love story based games where the choices, at least the BIG ones, have genuine consiquences - they certainly do in this game. Everything you do or don't do has different outcomes for either yourself or the characters around you, for better or for worse. It's really made me dedicated to trying everything! It also helps that this game has fantastically voiced dialogue; I WANT to find all of them! Highly reccomended for anyone who loves games with great visuals, superb voice acting, a fantastic story and a touch of murder
