Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I tried ignoring the bugs, as numerous and frequent as they maybe, but I can't ignore just how incomplete and unpolished this game is as an experience. I really wanna like it. The core concept is fun, the gameplay itself is fun when its not tripping over itself, but from the very first raid you can tell this was never playtested before it was put out and as much is confirmed by the dev in patchnotes. Maybe one day this can be a game where items, customers, and otherwise don't vanish from thin air for no reason in the middle of interactions. Maybe one day the physics of the bodies won't smack away the loot they drop as you search them. Maybe one day the difficulty slider will be somewhat reliable (even on relaxed difficulty, by raid 1 you'll probably end up with half your employees wiped), but it feels far away. I would like to note that if the dev is able to fix all these issues I'd gladly return to the game, but in its current state I couldn't even honestly recommend it at its current price which is less than $15. I hate to say that if I hadn't let this purchase sit in my library for so long before finally trying it, I probably would've requested a refund.
The Walking Trade A friend put me onto this one, and it turned out to be worth the recommendation. The Walking Trade drops you into running a shop in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, and the opening stretch is rough. There's barely any tutorial covering loot, controls, employee management, or how to actually push the game forward, so you're mostly left figuring things out while getting hammered by way too many zombie attacks with a tiny store and zero staff to help. It's a lot to juggle all at once early on, and I can see people bouncing off before it clicks. But once it clicks, it clicks hard. Hiring people for security and general upkeep starts easing the pressure, loot quality goes up, and batteries start flowing in steadily. I've put in 70 in-game days over 10 hours and already have every skill point spent with my people maxed out, which tells you how quickly the pace picks up once the foundation is built. I've still got some ground to cover before my store itself is fully maxed, but once that happens I don't think there's a ton left to chase besides pushing into the harder Hell Raids for a bigger challenge. It's a genuinely fun zombie-killing store sim once you push past that clunky opening. —The Ember Archives https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45601239/
I cannot recommend this game, don't understand how it's got such positive reviews, seems sus with the amount of AI reviews on youtube of this game and the amount of people tripping to choke on this dev in the discussions about how good and cheap the game is and that the "bugs are acceptable in this day for a game launch" Raise your standards. This game is slop
Good idea, worst product... Разрабу - you had one job...
As much as game loop is interesting, there is too many bugs and game feels unfinished. List of bugs: - your service peons might forget about their chores, they will only stand in front of cash register, not dealing with baskets anymore and animation is gone - your service peons might hang on checking non existing items of customer that have disappeared - security ignoring zombies - cleaners not dealing with bodies next to the fence - after coming back from mission, your peons might just stand there and die one by one if zombie will get close - demolition team might not come in at all - if your items will be next to upgraded station - you might not be able to recover them. Maybe I'm daft, but can't split stacked items. Hospital area looks like unfinished game.
"As much as I enjoy this game, these bugs are really annoying. I have stock disappearing, which costs me money; I have crates and carriers disappearing, which costs me money; I have customers that hold up the line and then have to kill (to send a message, you come here to BUY, not chat); which costs me money (and reputation, not like I have any competition, heh); collission is wonky and I get stuck in the aether, which costs me time (and time is money!!!). I don't think there's enough space to properly expand as a supermarket, though maybe that was intended. I get it, this game is indie. Still, you canNot release it in such a state; with bugs you have since forever. Until then, I will copy & paste this posts as a negative review; as I can't, in good conscience, recommend it. Rather troublesome for a game you buy, which costs money!"
