About
In Undead Development 2 you survive hordes of undead in a world that reacts to everything you do. Fast paced and combat focused, each run is a journey through three biomes, forest, swamp and city, with the difficulty rising as you go. Layers of dynamic systems come together into an immersive simulation.
The dynamic nailing system lets you nail anything to anything. Barricades are physics objects, not snapped blueprints: drag a couch across a doorway, nail it down, and it holds until the horde breaks it. Build traps out of what you can scavenge.
Explore a gauntlet of biomes, from the forest through the swamp to the city. Travel between points of interest with the grid based map exploration system. Restock, fortify, and hold out until evacuation.
Progress by expanding the loot pool through research. 40+ unique items are available at Early Access launch. Meta progression carries across every mode, single player or multiplayer. Level up to unlock random player skins. Challenges unlock unique skins.
Difficulty tiers shape the experience, from power fantasy to hardcore roguelike.
Interwoven layers of randomness make every run feel fresh: random loot with rarity tiers, random events, random levels on the map.
Immersive mechanics and events: tree cutting, fire spreading, physics damage.
Intuitive, minimalist interface. Interact directly with tools and items in the world.
Unique NPCs with their own behaviors and abilities.
Strain: loop back through the biomes at increased difficulty. Enemy health never scales, so enemies never turn into bullet sponges.
Play in standard desktop mode or in VR.
Online co-op for 1 to 4 players.
