Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If this game was called "Google Simulator", it would be far more apt. Storyline is straight out of "The Tin Foil Hat Owners Club" and reads more like someones personal conspiracy theories than anything else. Having to email every single answer, Google everything, or use really poorly implemented tools (that in all honesty are not even close to what professionals use) creates a huge disconnect in the game that makes if feel more like a chore than a legitimately enjoyable experience. You never really feel engrossed or engaged with the game, instead like you're doing someone else a favour who couldn't be bothered helping you out. No idea on the cost of this one, but if it's similar to the cost of The Room (or any of those 3), look towards them instead. Far more intuitive and rewarding experience to be had there.

The Temporal Invasion is certainly a fairly unique game on Steam, but being unique doesn't mean it's "good" by any stretch of the imagination. This is sold as an "Augmented Reality" game, but before you start thinking about real world interactions like Pokemon Go, this is much dumber than that. What it means is you need to use your web browser and google stuff. Like, you know, a walkthrough for the game. Or, more likely, try googling "How do I uninstall The Temporal Invasion?". The implementation here is really shoddy, it might as well be a browser game. Following this along, the developer makes the ridiculous demand that you should play the game in windowed mode, because then it's easier to use your web browser. But wow, what a crap gaming experience that results in. Especially considering one goal that games should always aspire to is "immersiveness". From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The game interface is mostly just text boxes/dialogs and features mostly static, barely animated 2D images, plus occasional embedded video, the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/HTML games from the 1990s. While that might be fine for the 1990s, gaming has evolved a lot since then, the ATI Rage became mainstream in 1996... it's 2023, and that kind of thing just won't fly anymore, it's just not visually up to scratch. Arrogantly, the developers demand you should find a way to plug headphones into your gaming PC to experience the craptastic audio they shovelled into this terrible game. I run a 9.2 surround sound system for my gaming rig, I'm not interested in downgrading just because the developers demand I experience the game in a compromised manner. Developers must never dictate to gamers how a game should be consumed, it's their JOB to ensure a game is experienced well on any gaming rig. Failure to do this is a failure on their part, and not the gamers. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static images... it might as well be a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The Temporal Invasion didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "I'm Qualified", trivial to get, but less than 18 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 18 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who weren't even playing the game? Trading cards. Players will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. The Temporal Invasion is stupidly overpriced at $7 USD, and it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. There's better browser games... and if you're interested, well, do what the developer suggests for this game, and have a web browser and search engine handy.
This is a game that challenges you to solve a series of puzzles and mysteries that span across history, science, and conspiracy. You will need to use both in-game tools and real-world resources to find the clues and uncover the truth. The game is a modern take on the alternate reality game (ARG) genre, blending fiction and reality in an immersive way. The game has some pros and cons that you should consider before buying it. Some of the pros are: • The game has a compelling story that will keep you hooked and curious. • The game has a variety of puzzles that test your logic, creativity, and research skills. • The game has a low price and a high replay value, as you can try different paths and solutions. Some of the cons are: • The game has some technical issues and bugs that can affect the gameplay and immersion. • The game has some unrealistic and confusing elements, such as the delivery of information and the lack of explanation for some puzzles. • The game has some clichéd and predictable aspects, such as the use of common conspiracy theories and historical events. It is not perfect, but it is worth a try if you are looking for a unique and challenging experience. 7.9/10 :D
I love this kind of adventure games where you us the web send emails, going on fake sites that are created for the game and so on. If you ever played the FMV game In Memoriam or even the treasure hunt of 2001 (Le Masque de Nefer) then you know what kind of game this is. I just would have loved a little more story like we had in In Memoriam with more video's or events happening. But other then that it is a great puzzle game with a lot of research on the net, while learning extra things along the way. I wish there we're much more of these games. I have over 20 hours and I am close to the end of act III, 7 acts left.... so you have an idea how long it is. Great work!
The idea of this game is cool and so far I quite enjoy it! But I don't understand why it has a ridiculously high CPU usage and my laptop is always burning hot when running the game....

It's amazing and cool.
