Even though this game is different from the original (usually in a good way but not always), I would still recommend it. I like this game merely as a remaster, especially now that there is a rewind mechanic, the recorder puzzles have been made so much less annoying, and not to mention there is a whole new DLC as well as potentially infinite community puzzles to play. There are a few bugs that the original game didn't have, but those can probably be addressed easily enough. If you're willing to buy this game despite the price upgrade, you will not be disappointed. However, if you don't think it's worth it, the original is just as good.

One of the worst games in terms of performance/graphics ratio. It seems the devs just threw everything on maps and just didn't care about how it works. They just maxed out everything and said "yep. looks ok". Poorly made LODs, graphical artifacts (besides intentional glitch effects), 0 optimization from the default UE5 presets, noisy shadows. Competence of a potato. But it's nice to see the old locations with a little better graphics and listen to some gamedevs commentaries.

One of the best puzzle games next to Portal thats not point and click Beautiful graphics, beautiful sounds, perfect difficulty curve, only thing I didn't like is the game is a little pretentious with its story. Still like portal the puzzles are seperate from the story so the game still comes highly recommended.

I might prefer the value the original gives, compared to this one. Yet Talos 1+2 are my favourite puzzle games of all time. so ofcourse im gonna recommend it
I primarily like the Quality of Life things added to the remaster. Stuff like rewinding, recorder checkpoints and so on. In The Beginning campaign is also quite fun if you understand main game's (and also Gehenna) advanced mechanics.
