The Swapper

Really great puzzle game! The art style is really cool (kind of a gritty sci-fi claymation sort of look) and has a really neat vibe. The story was a bit of a mixed bag. It tackled really interesting philosophical questions which tied in really well with the gameplay, but the writing itself was pretty all over the place, and the ending didn't feel like much of a conclusion. It's far from horrible though and still glues the world together. The puzzles are fantastic, and I'd say right up there with Portal. I usually don't 100% games, especially puzzle games, but I did this time. The puzzles get challenging pretty early on, but never feel completely impossible and all of them manage to feel completely unique. If puzzles + atmosphere are your thing, this is definitely a good one.

体验了两个多小时，剧情什么的不评价，不否认游戏的优秀，就目前来看，游戏的美术和音乐都很出色，感觉很符合茫茫太空的背景和迷幻的设定：谜题设置方面难度不是很大，思考思考就能解出来，个别关卡思路比较有意思，把游戏的一些小机制运用的很灵活（例如克隆本体的时候画面时间会减慢，以达到多次传送的效果）但大多数关卡的思路有点重复：地图的探索模式个人比较喜欢，类似于VVVVVV，经过一段时间的探索，利用传送器传送到自己遗漏的地方来进一步的探索，恰好两者的地图都属于比较破碎型的设计，所以这种还是机制很合理的。 但最给游戏减分，最让人恼火的一个部分：游戏bug 先不说鼠标指针问题，这个通过属性里面修改compatibility可以解决，但是游戏时常会出现按动键盘键位而导致游戏卡住的问题，就算通过切游戏画面能使卡住的问题解决，可再进行任何点击都是无效操作了，不会触发任何反应，而且这些bug这么多年了也没有修，一个游戏最基本的素养必须是得能玩吧？挺好的游戏和这么弱智的bug叠一起真的很让人无语。 如果bug修复了或者有解决方法了，评分会立即修改。 2025.3.22 二编 不敢相信这个游戏更新了，并修复了很多bug

A great puzzle platformer with an interesting story that has 2 endings based on a choice made at the very end of the game. You are able to progress while skipping some puzzles but they all must be completed to finish the game. A point to backtrack is worked into the story with some additional lore entries appearing in past locations and the teleporters unlocked as you travel through the facility make it easy to jump around the map as needed. The achievements for the game are in well hidden locations that can be tracked down if you spend some time combing the map, getting easier to narrow down after you stumble into a couple since they are numbered, but I have to recommend using a guide to avoid the frustration if you don't want to deal with that kind of search.

The Swapper is a game where you create clones of yourself and 'swap' (hence the title) your consciousness between them. You may think that's a rather horrifying concept for a game with a claymation style aesthetic. And the game developers would agree with you. Man, that ending's dark. So, if you're up for a game with an unique visual style that makes full use of its concept both in the puzzles and the narrative, than Swapper's your game.

독특한 컨셉의 메트로이드풍 퍼즐 플랫포머 게임 도전과제에 대한 힌트가 전혀 없어서 결국 공략을 보게 되는 점이 꽤 아쉽습니다. (일단 게임을 하다보면 "아 여기는 수상쩍은데?" 하는 부분이 있고 거기서 정말 한걸음 더 나아가면 도전과제 해결이 되는게 대부분입니다만 문제는 그 한걸음 더 나가기가 우연히라도 성공할 가능성은 거의 없고 솔직히 공략이 없으면 도전과제 해결이 한개도 안되는 억지스러운 창의성을 요구하는 형태로 구성되어 있습니다. 이부분이 정말 크게 아쉬운 부분이네요) 기본적으로 영어를 모르면 스토리 이해가 안되는 게임이지만 비공식 한글패치가 있으니 구해서 적용하시면 됩니다. 또한 그냥 하시면 마우스 포인터가 정상적으로 조작되지가 않으니 컴배벌리티 설정을 맞추셔야 제대로 플레이할 수 있으니 주의하시길.
