tl;dr pretentious + amateur 3/10 I bought it when it was new and played it once a little on the same day. Now I re-evaluated it. While it does get you to think a little philosophically, I nonetheless came to the conclusion, that I will never touch it again. Because... This has highly amateurish game design. They don't bother establishing rules one at a time and then reinforce them slowly and progressively. Instead they throw everything in at the very start. There is no feeling of cohesiveness or that a specific area has a specific mechanical theme like in a "real" game. There is no difficulty curve. After 10 minutes it becomes really challenging and then stays that way. Gathering orbs feels like a chore. Shouldn't happend this often. The singular one mechanic this game is based around is not implemented organically and the puzzle rooms feel arbitrary and unbelievably gamey. They are also finicky. Puzzle games where you need to press two buttons in quick succession repeatedly should die out. The game feel is terrible. Basically no sound. Everything feels floaty. Next to no feedback for player actions. The options menu is in dire need of a brightness slider for this game is extremely dark. And most of the text is unreadable because of the color choice. I don't give a damn about anything there. The overall theme does not get explored artistically. Instead some walls rub the big questions under your nose when you pass them by and they also slow you down every time. This entire thing is underdeveloped and pretentious.

The Swapper is a brain-breaking puzzle game that relies on the titular Swapper device, gravity, lights, boxes, and a whole lotta patience. There's even a puzzle you have to solve by free-falling and using the device while you wait for a door to open. Hah! Good one! Anyway, the Swapper is a demonic device that copies bodies...but souls? mwa ha haaaaa...... I dunno. It's a thing. It does stuff. Still, this game was like $2.89 when I bought it a month ago or so. It came out in 2013 so it's now heavily discounted. Ah just go get it. Fast food costs like 4 times that nowadays....

Loved this game. Great puzzles, great atmosphere.
É um game estranho, bizarro, com uma atmosfera melancólica e triste. Mas é um bom jogo com uma jogabilidade diferente. Game aprovado!
Very creative puzzle, story, and visual
to avoid something worse?

Enjoyable Sci-Fi puzzler that has unique mechanics and an interesting story. Good length at ~5.5 hours for me.
