Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is difficult to review, but in the end I'm gonna recommend it, at least when it's on sale. The pixel art is solid, as are atmospheric sounds or all the technical aspects. And the riddles are mostly rather easy, the story is promising and keeps you interested pretty quickly, but thats where the issues start for me. First: The game is rather short. I'd say the acutall play time might be 3-4 hours. Also it leaves quite a few open strings. What happened to some of npc? Why hasnt there been any use for "the toy"?. And I really would have enjoyed some more "everyday life" time before the main story twist takes place, as the settings seems great but is hardly used during the game. In the end it's a thumb up, but wait for a sale because of the rather short story and the open strings that might disappoint you a bit as well.
Theres many critical reviews of this game and I thoroughly liked it, so I decided to write this short review. The atmosphere is great, the story is nice and captivating and the dev (one woman on her own, I think) put a lot of effort into the game. Yes, it has its flaws because some riddles (the scrambler on the table) are not very logical. There is a guide here on Steam that helps tho, so finding the solution for this riddle was easy. The Sundew is a great little pixel point and click, if you like the Wadjet Eye games then you will like this game, too.
All in all I really enjoyed this game. The graphics and atmosphere are great. The only thing I would have loved is more depth to the story itself. It left a few questions unanswered.
Definitely recommended. Although the beginning was a bit rough and the plot didn't seem engaging, this changed after the first chapter. It reminded me of the good old adventure games (plot, dialogues, development). The graphics are a bit different than your classic "pixel-art". Not bad at all, just not my cup of tea. It's a matter of preferrence. A really good job! And this is from a guy who isn't into Japanese culture etc (I'm saying so because the plot takes place in future Japan). All in all, a great job and an excellent game!!!
Très bon point & click :)
Well produced adventure game. Puzzles are well laid out with a good selection of achievements. Plot easy enough to follow but sometimes hard to understand main character motivations.
