Very funny little game with some exestential stuff mixed in! A game about A narrator, choice and buc- erm... Stanly!

Both The Original Stanley Parable and This are both worth your time. I love this a bit more though, especially how it expands the Original with the bucket, and the epologue was worth it too. Play this game.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a shameless “remake” that asks full price for the base game, re-sold with “new content” that could be a $3 DLC pack for the original version. This “Ultra Deluxe” content is 40% actually new, and 60% recycled. The new content is more areas and sequences with the narrator being meta-ironic, but the total playtime only lasts an hour and a half at most. Still, these parts are enjoyable. The recycled content is very bad, however - collectibles, forcing you to redo things, and making you replay old endings whilst holding a bucket to get either the occasional new scene, or just different dialogue. The game tries to justify this low-effort content with “self aware” humour, but that’s lazy writing, not a valid excuse. If you HAVEN'T played The Stanley Parable before, get this version on a deep discount. You get to experience everything blind (original game and new content) without feeling ripped off. If you HAVE played The Stanley Parable before, just watch the “Ultra Deluxe” stuff on the internet. It’s a walking simulator with little interaction, so watching someone else play it will give off the same experience.
