We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

About
The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror set in 1920s Arkham. Deliberate, tense, and resource-lean: pressure builds as you push deeper, relief comes in brief refuge, and fear is something you manage. Mind your inventory, take on unnerving puzzles, and double back via unlocked shortcuts for supplies and upgrades.
A Roaring ’20s port city buckling under a supernatural flood. Tide-stained avenues and battered Art Deco. Speakeasies gone dark. Districts feel lived-in and water-worn, with routes by foot and skiff, shortcuts behind collapsed seawalls, and secrets tucked in boarded parlors. You’ll navigate a hospital where science hides its face, a fish market where the merchandise bites back, and descend deep below the city to where eldritch horrors stir.
A ritual gone wrong trapped her soul in the Dreamlands, and now malevolent forces have stolen her body. To rescue the woman you love, you must walk a dangerous path through catastrophe to the source of the flood — her presence always felt, but rarely seen.
The Slither animate the dead. Deep Ones surge from dark water. Shadows bend space and test nerves. Some fights must be met head-on; others demand a retreat to rearm, retune your build, and return better prepared. Or take on an optional investigation and come back with an upgraded gun.
Exploration is the key to survival. Read ritual residues, sift through grisly clues, decode journals that shouldn’t exist, and pry at masks that won’t come off. Optional cases never gate progress — but they unlock safer routes, hard supplies, and upgrades that change how you endure the next encounter.
The Sinking City 2 draws on Frogwares’ detective roots to deliver survival horror that runs deep and hits hard. Shaped by studio obsession and community feedback, it’s a faithful Lovecraft experience: myths made manifest, and the inconceivable fear that results.

Reviews
This game is a master piece and makes sure you know damn well that you are just a guy fight eldritch horrors. You have to carefully preserve ammo and run a lot and come back later once you prepared. I really hope the game devs make a third game as i would pay 100 dollars for another masterpiece such as this

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Honestly, they've taken the worst part of Sinking City 1 and made an entire game about it... which is boring zombie shooter horror survival. Paired with terrible inventory management, bad investigation UI and annoying loot mechanics, this is just not fun to play either. The atmosphere, music, actors and setting are great, but I can't even be bothered to care about the story if I have to slog through this zombie survival ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Not worth $50, i could of had mortal shell 2 instead. This game wants to be resident evil so bad but it fall short in many ways. Some puzzles are fun. Gun play it boring, melee is ♥♥♥♥ even though some weapons prioritize it. Each level feels repetitive. The main character feels like "John Protagonist" trying to be Leon but without the charm. Also I spent the first hour loading shaders, should have seen the signs.
The game is very good. Graphics are nice and the atmosphere delivers. I really like it. However what spoils it for me and almost makes me quit is the too small inventory. This is a joke. I constantly have to go back to the safe room and unload my stuff. Of course when I go back into the world, which is scary and gorgous, I suddenly need it. DEVELOPERS, please enlarge the inventory!!! This is no fun and makes a good game bad. The moment you do I give you a thumbs up and change my review.
TL;DR They changed combat to be like R.E, removed enjoyable gameplay elements from the first game and the game feels like a poorly made R.E clone made in the lovecraft universe. If I wanted to play R.E I would play that, I wanted to play The Sinking City 2, but instead I got this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Sinking City 2 is a Resident Evil / Silent Hill game that was modded to have the Sinking City lore. Gameplay is like Resident Evil with having to aim at spicific parts of a thing to kill it without having to waste an extra 5 bullets, though the game will still have 2-3 of them attack you at once in a small area forcing you to either waste ammo or take damage. Did you enjoy the detective parts of the first game? (I loved those) those are gone. To me, this is the Masqurade Bloodlines 2 of The Sinking City series. Something that was already successful as it was, changed to be more like other mainline games and in the change, was made worse because its NOT those games, it is it's own game, and it copies from those games poorly. I avoided reviews and videos because I did not want spoilers, I wish I had seen reviews or videos because I would have known to not purchase this game. I honestly do not understand how they could have gone from the first game and then made this and have a splash screen that says they are proud of how the game turned out. Aside from the visuals, this game could have easily just been some resident evil mod because it plays pretty much like resident evil, except every resident evil element in the game is worse than the actual resident evil elements.
Quite a well made game, the only thing that keeps me away from getting the dlc is that it doesn't have any achievements.
The game is a surprise in a good way. A must-play for all fans of Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
The game literally is A Silent Hill with the RE2 Remake gameplay.
