The Samaritan Paradox is set in Sweden in the 80's. Ord Salomon has agreed to help Sara Bergwall find the book her father, Jonatan Bergwall, wrote before he died. During the course of this treasure hunt, he learns that Jonatan was investigating the weapons industry, and more specifically some covert affairs with foreign dictatorships.
But more questions arise. What is the book about, and why does Sara want Ord to find it for her? Did her Alzheimer's-stricken mother know the secret before she grew too demented to share it? And how did Jonatan actually die?

Le jeu n'est pas mauvais mais il existe beaucoup d'autres point'n'click qui méritent d'être complétés avant ce titre.
The game starts off well, with an appealing storyline on paper. But it quickly loses its appeal, with uninspired puzzles and linear gameplay. You get bored very quickly and want to play something else. It's a big disappointment, which is a shame. I paid less than a euro for it, and I think it's a waste of money. Even if it were free, I wouldn't recommend it. Honestly, was this game even tested? The storyline is forced, the puzzles are rubbish. The menus and save system are from another era, and unfortunately there's a bug that causes you to lose control of the mouse and can happen at any time. I'm playing the game with a walkthrough and even that makes it very tedious. Seriously, play something else, don't waste your time.

Quite good point+click game with very interesting and original story and brutal puzzles. Thankfully there is a video walkthrough on YT. At any case I enjoyed this one despite insane puzzles and I recommend for people who like mystery stories.
I can't believe I forgot to review this game. I played through a ton of classic adventure games back then, and this one really stuck with me. Something about the particular quality of audio that is haunting, the music is nice, the environments bleak and real feeling. Yeah, the story gets quite daringly heavy, but I don't think that makes it bad
A ver... el juego en si es una aventura point and CLICK con una historia algo pobre pero que te entretiene lo suficiente como para llegar al final. La musica y los graficos estan bastante bien hechos, con ese estilo retro de los 80-90. Tiene buenos sonidos y ambientacion, Puzzles safables dentro de todo... pero la historia si bien no esta tan mal en cuanto a la trama, tiene una ejecucion pobrisima. Basicamente nos contrata una mujer para investigar donde esta la herencia del padre rico que pertenecia como a una secta religiosa que vende indulgencias a locos que quieren "vivir en el paraiso", nada raro, algo comun, pero es como que a partir de ahi, perdes el hilo y te vas yendo del Presente a una especie de realidad pasada que parece que lees en un cuento y no tiene mucho sentido a donde vas. Al final es como que "volves al libro" no se entiende nada. Tiene logros y CROMOS que dan algo mas de valor al titulo. Realmente merece un voto neutral o negativo, pero debido a que cuesta poco y dentro de todo esta bien hecho lo dejo en pulgar arriba, pero salvo que seas MUY FAN del genero, no creo que te guste 5/10
