Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I didn't really know what to expect from it, but I ended up enjoying the whole Alaskan wilderness and sled-dog expedition idea. You're basically trying to survive out in the middle of nowhere with your dogs, managing resources, making decisions and trying to get back home. The relationship with the dogs is probably my favorite part. They aren't just tools that pull your sled; you actually get attached to them, learn their personalities and have to take care of them. It makes some of the decisions feel much more personal. The gameplay is quite simple, mostly focused on exploration, survival and choices, but I think that fits the game. You're constantly deciding whether it's worth taking a risk, hunting for food, exploring somewhere dangerous or simply continuing forward. The atmosphere is also really nice. The snowy landscapes, wildlife and isolation make you feel like you're genuinely far away from civilization. It's not a horror game, but there are moments where being alone in the wilderness can be surprisingly tense. That said, it's definitely not a game for everyone. The gameplay can become repetitive, and if you're looking for constant action or a huge amount of content, you'll probably get bored pretty quickly. But as a small, relaxing survival/adventure game with a strong focus on your dogs and the journey itself, I think it works really well. Not an incredible game, but definitely something different. If you like survival games, animals, exploration or just want something chill to play, The Red Lantern is worth giving a chance.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

interesting concept, I guess?
If the game offered more freedom - rather than just a clunky "left or right" choice - it would certainly have attracted a much larger audience. As it stands, the art style is pleasing, and the survival mechanics (managing food for yourself and your dogs, as well as fatigue and energy levels) make for an enjoyable experience; still, the game would be even better if we could interact with everything ourselves.
I am glad that i didnt buy this game with money. The story is quite boring and i didnt really liked the "maze" part if you can even call it that you can just press random directions and it goes to the house.
SO FRIGGIN CUTE I LOVE MY PUPPERS
