Not for me. The keyboard discovery keys of F for focus, E for pick up and [ for space bar jump aren't easily discoverable - just label them on screen. The UI for connecting half circles requires moving the picture frames around and having to toggle between focuses gives the game a heavy handed mechanical feel that takes away from the joy of the scenery.
It feels like the final sections with first person involvement were the original idea, but they were either too cumbersome or too complex for the developers, so they settled on a pure 2D approach for 95% of the game. I don’t hate it, but beyond the nice backgrounds and transitions, the core gameplay is extremely boring and repetitive. Some puzzles were really annoying thanks to the clunky reset and revert mechanics, fiddly connections, and awkward controls. Overall, it’s pretty mediocre, and I basically forced myself to finish it after avoiding it for years.

Really enjoyed the puzzles in this game! I wish it were longer, but still worth the price. Enjoyed it so much, I played through it twice.
The Pedestrian is a nice little puzzle game that deserves all the praise. The puzzles skillfully make use of the duality between the puzzle pieces and the scene to offer a bit more complexity than standard puzzle games, and add to the poetry of the world you are travelling in, together with a beautiful piano OST. The game is not very difficult for puzzle game lovers, but still require enough thinking to give them enjoyment. I particularly enjoyed the last level of the game, which gives a whole different meaning to the duality I mentioned earlier. The principle of that level would be worth a full game on its own. A clear recommendation from my side.
very creative
esse jogo é muito bom eu me estressei um pouca mais é divertido
Cute, clever, concise - satisfying. Big minus for no keys rebinding.
好玩,有点烧脑
Rating ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Portal 2-D The game is a collection of many short puzzles, and it keeps gameplay fresh by constantly introducing new clever mechanics that feel original. Unfortunately, most are dropped before being fully explored in favour of the next new thing. The difficulty is uneven as well, though the puzzles stay easy throughout since most solutions come from working backwards from the exit rather than genuine insight. There is also no real story to speak of, so the puzzles must carry the entire experience. Worth at a discount.
